Coahuila es pionero en derechos humanos; Miguel Riquelme

Coahuila destaca por ser una entidad pionera en temas de Derechos Humanos, tanto nacional como internacionalmente, destacó el gobernador Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís.
Añadió que el estado se enfoca en acciones para promover la inclusión, la equidad y no discriminación porque está comprometido con los Derechos Humanos.
En ese sentido indicó se han generando iniciativas y propuestas relevantes en la material que sitúan a la entidad en el reconocimiento nacional e internacionalmente.
Por ejemplo, expresó que se ha colaborado con la Casa del Migrante Belén, en Saltillo, y Frontera Digna, en Piedras Negras, para mantener los servicios básicos a las personas migrantes y así proteger sus derechos.
También se suscribió un convenio de colaboración con la Comisión Mexicana de Ayuda a Refugiados (COMAR) y la Oficina del Alto Comisionado de Naciones Unidas para los Refugiados (ACNUR), con la finalidad de proporcionar un espacio para instalar una oficina que brinde atención a personas en situación de refugiados en Coahuila.
