Exhiben los bomberos de Saltillo sus destrezas y habilidades

Los festejos por el Día del Bombero en Saltillo culminaron con un vibrante evento en la Ruta Recreativa, donde los elementos del cuerpo de Bomberos de la ciudad ofrecieron una serie de demostraciones que capturaron la atención y el corazón de la ciudadanía. Este evento no solo sirvió como cierre de las actividades conmemorativas, sino también como un puente de interacción entre los rescatistas y la comunidad, especialmente los más jóvenes.

El Director de Protección Civil y Bomberos, Alberto Neira Vielma, encabezó la jornada, destacando la importancia de este tipo de actividades para fortalecer la confianza y el vínculo entre la sociedad y los bomberos. “Queremos que desde pequeños, los niños conozcan de cerca el trabajo que realizamos y cómo nuestros conocimientos y habilidades están al servicio de la seguridad de todos los saltillenses”, comentó Neira Vielma.
En total, 32 elementos del cuerpo de Bomberos, apoyados por siete capitanes, participaron activamente en las demostraciones, que incluyeron desde la extinción de incendios en vehículos hasta el uso de equipo especializado en rescate y progresión con cuerdas. La jornada también contó con la entusiasta participación de 60 niñas y 70 niños, quienes tomaron parte en un rally de destrezas y aprendizaje sobre Resucitación Cardiopulmonar (RCP).
Uno de los momentos más destacados del día fue la demostración de extinción de incendios en vehículos, donde los bomberos emplearon una unidad escala y una unidad bomba para mostrar las técnicas de combate al fuego. Los asistentes, en especial los más pequeños, tuvieron la oportunidad de subirse a los vehículos y conocer de primera mano cómo funcionan estos instrumentos vitales en las operaciones de rescate y protección.
El evento no solo se enfocó en mostrar las destrezas de los bomberos, sino también en educar a la población. Se ofrecieron pláticas y cursos de RCP al público, con el objetivo de equipar a los ciudadanos con conocimientos que podrían ser cruciales en situaciones de emergencia.
Con esta jornada, el Departamento de Protección Civil y Bomberos de Saltillo cerró oficialmente las actividades del Día del Bombero, que fueron impulsadas por el alcalde José María Fraustro Siller. La respuesta positiva de la comunidad refleja la confianza que la sociedad tiene en sus rescatistas, y la intención de fortalecer este vínculo a través de la educación y el acercamiento directo con la ciudadanía.
Las actividades concluyeron con un sentido agradecimiento de parte de los bomberos hacia los asistentes, especialmente a los niños, quienes son considerados los futuros guardianes de la seguridad y el bienestar de la ciudad.
De esta manera, Saltillo celebra a sus bomberos no solo como héroes que combaten incendios, sino también como pilares de la comunidad que, a través de la educación y la demostración de habilidades, continúan ganándose la confianza y el respeto de los ciudadanos.
