‘Hay tensión en el ambiente, pero confiamos en que esto termine pronto’: saltillense en centro de Israel
Adriana González, con 13 años residiendo en aquel país, afirma que la situación no es como se observa en las noticias
A casi tres días de que inició el conflicto en Medio Oriente que empezó con el ataque del grupo terrorista palestino Hamás hacia Israel, la saltillense Adriana González dice que el centro de este país continúa bajo calma y a la expectativa de que la situación sea controlada a corto plazo.
Aunque el conflicto medio oriental se ha ido fortaleciendo en las últimas décadas, el número de muertos que ha dejado el intercambio de fuego supera las mil personas desde el fin de semana pasado, cuando Hamás abrió fuego contra la zona cercana a Gaza.

Adriana González es una saltillense que tiene casi 13 años residiendo con sus hijos en la parte centro de Israel, donde trabaja en una empresa de tecnología, y en entrevista con VANGUARDIA dijo que a lo largo de este tiempo nunca le había tocado observar tan de cerca un ataque de esta magnitud.
“En lo que llevo aquí no me había tocado algo así. Es lo más fuerte que creo que le ha pasado a Israel en toda su historia”, indica.
Mientras que la situación de alarma ha ido disminuyendo conforme el paso de las horas, Adriana recuerda que los eventos más fuertes se hicieron presentes durante la mañana del pasado sábado, cuando inició la activación de las sirenas cuyo objetivo es alertar por ataques con misil en zonas pobladas.
“Pensamos que fue una estrategia para llamar la atención a través de los misiles, y poder infiltrarse y de ahí lo que hemos visto: personas que se han llevado, que han ingresado a los hogares para extraerlas”, dijo sobre lo que se piensa en el colectivo al respecto de la estrategia de Hamás.
La saltillense dice que en la parte donde vive que se encuentra a unos 25 kilómetros de Tel Aviv, la situación no es como la que se observa en las noticias con la destrucción de grandes edificios y muertos, aunque la tensión permanece en general en el ambiente del país.
“En esta parte del país está relativamente tranquilo. En esta zona la tensión sí está de que pueda escalar a una situación mayor. Las noticias son muy alarmantes y el conflicto sí está fuerte como para alarmarse, pero depende mucho de la zona en donde se esté ubicado”, indica.
En ese sentido, dice que si bien han existido ataques con misiles en otras partes del país por parte de Hamás, esta pudo ser una estrategia para infiltrarse y realizar actos por tierra, sin embargo, para este momento la autoridad israelí ya tomó precauciones que previenen que avancen hacia otras partes más lejanas a la Franja de Gaza.
Informó que en estos momentos no hay mucha afluencia de personas en la calle por la aplicación de medidas de prevención, pero sí hay servicios de supermercado y para otros fines, mientras que la actividad académica espera una reanudación para el siguiente miércoles.
“Aunque todos los anuncios los tenemos prácticamente una noche antes”, dice.
Respecto al espectro político que hoy se vive en Medio Oriente y que ha generado toda una conversación en la esfera, Adriana González explica que en aquella zona existe un conflicto de toda la vida que no se sabe si vaya a terminar; sin embargo, es importante que el mundo conozca el origen y el fondo del problema.

“Es importante conocer la historia para poder ser empáticos; ambas partes sufren. Hay una conversación permanente de cancelación sobre Israel, y una conversación pro Palestina siempre y es muy difícil tomar un lado, porque en estos momentos no es sobre ninguno de estos lugares; el problema es que hay un grupo terrorista que tiene tomada a una población como Gaza que sufre con ellos dentro”, dice.
“Yo estoy en Israel y vivo de este lado y conozco historias de mucha gente que la ha pasado mal, que ha perdido a sus hijos. No se trata de ser pro Palestina o pro Israel, simplemente de pensar en la humanidad y que tanto sufre Gaza como sufre Israel. El problema es el grupo terrorista, que no va solo contra Israel, sino también contra cristianos y aquellos que no practiquen su doctrina. Ahora han tomado de rehenes a americanos, mexicanos, alemanes; no tienen límites”, expresó.
Pese a que la situación es más tranquila en la parte donde reside, dice que de igual manera en la realidad de Israel existen indicaciones permanentes y medidas de prevención para disuadir el mayor peligro de los ataques terroristas.
“Todos los edificios deben tener un cuarto de seguridad en cada departamento. Cuando se detecta que va a caer un misil en zona poblada, se dispara el domo de hierro y se activa la alarma de la ciudad para ingresar al cuarto de seguridad. Yo tengo aproximadamente un minuto para ingresar. Así es la situación en el centro de Israel: se activa la alarma, yo ingreso y tengo que esperar”, indica.
“Ya sabes lo que tienes qué hacer y lo tomas con calma; los niños saben qué es lo que deben hacer, igual si andas en la calle. Es igual que la alerta sísmica de Ciudad de México, la alarma de esta ciudad”, indica.
Sin embargo, asevera que el sentimiento de peligro, también es un sentimiento que se vive en México con la situación delincuencial que hoy se enfrenta.
“Me cuestionan sobre México, y es también muy peligroso, roban, matan, secuestran y se atenta contra mujeres. Del otro lado todo se ve muy diferente”, dice.
“Confiamos en que esto no dure mucho tiempo y que termine bien para todos”, concluye.
