No han llegado armas de alto calibre a Coahuila; ya están pagadas
Aunque no especificó el total de armas, aseguró que se trata de armas cortas, armas largas, municiones y dos armas más de calibre 50 que no se han entregado desde mayo del 2019
TORREÓN, COAH.- La titular de la Secretaría de Seguridad de Coahuila, Sonia Villarreal, dijo que, aunque ya están pagadas las armas de grueso calibre solicitadas a principios de este año a la Sedena, éstas no han llegado.
Dijo que es un tema pendiente que se sigue poniendo en la mesa del Gobierno Federal, dada la necesidad que tienen los elementos de contar con ese tipo de armamento para enfrentar a la delincuencia organizada.
“Seguimos gestionando y esperando que el Gobierno Federal haga la entrega, ya que durante este 2021 no se ha hecho entrega de armamento, la noticia que nos acaban de dar es que será a principios de año cuando se haga la entrega y va tarde”, explicó.
Aunque no especificó el total de armas, aseguró que se trata de armas cortas, armas largas, municiones y dos armas más de calibre 50 que no se han entregado desde mayo del 2019.
“Lo que hemos estado gestionando con el Secretario Ejecutivo Nacional y con el Ejército es que se hagan las cosas más rápido”, detalló Villarreal Pérez.

Sonia Villarreal dijo que para la temporada decembrina se están alistando operativos que redoblarán esfuerzos para dar la bienvenida a los visitantes y turistas.
“Estamos listos para esta temporada y ya hemos estado recibiendo a turistas y paisanos y estamos seguros de que tendremos más tráfico y concurrencia en las carreteras”, concluyó.
