Pavimentan tramo de bulevar en la colonia Zaragoza

Manolo Jiménez Salinas, alcalde de Saltillo, inauguró una de las 158 obras que se llevan a cabo en la ciudad en las colonias Zaragoza y Mirasierra.
Se trata de la obra realizada sobre el bulevar Jardín con una inversión de 3.7 millones de pesos y que conecta a diversos sectores de este sector.
“Estamos inaugurando una de las 158 obras que hace unas semanas arrancamos con el gobernador Miguel Riquelme y que sin duda vienen a beneficiar mucho a la gente de estas colonias. Esto nos lo pidió la gente y hoy en día le estamos cumpliendo”, mencionó el Alcalde.
El Alcalde señaló que esta obra se llevó a cabo a petición de los mismos colonos.
“Tenemos ya muchos años recorriendo Saltillo y cuando quería ser Alcalde lo primero que tenía que hacer era conocer a quién aspiraba a representar, fueron 10 años recorriendo las colonias, barrios y ejidos, de platicar con ustedes, conocer qué sentían y qué pensaban y todas esas prioridades las marcamos en un plan de gobierno”, dijo.
Agregó que en sus recorridos hizo varios compromisos con la población, y esta ampliación era una de las principales peticiones en el sector.
“Para mí es muy importante que esa confianza se honre y la mejor manera es cumpliendo, aquí le estamos cumpliendo nuevamente a nuestra gente con esta obra tan importante para estas colonias”, mencionó Jiménez Salinas.
Virgilio Verduzco Echeverría, director de Infraestructura y Obras Públicas, informó que se trabajó en 9 mil 500 metros cuadrados sobre el bulevar Jardín entre Jacarandas y Calle 7, y en las calles Pinabete y Ciprés.
Se colocaron 25 árboles en el camellón central y se construyeron más de mil 500 metros cuadrados de banqueta para brindar una mayor seguridad a los peatones de la zona.
“Esta obra también contribuye a una mejor conexión entre las dos colonias y viene a mejorar la infraestructura vial de la zona”, dijo.
A nombre de los vecinos, la señora Bertha Alicia Valverde Arévalo dio la bienvenida al Alcalde a la colonia Zaragoza y le agradeció por la conclusión de la obra que, dijo, representa la culminación de un proyecto que anhelaban desde hace más de 30 años.
“Estas son las acciones que transforman la vida de las familias y resuelven de fondo los problemas, esta pavimentación traerá consigo grandes beneficios, un entorno más seguro, facilidad de acceso de ambulancias, patrullas y de servicios, mayor plusvalía para nuestro patrimonio y tenemos la seguridad que esta obra será detonante para el desarrollo de comercios y negocios con oportunidades de empleo”, destacó la vecina.
En el evento estuvieron presentes María Bárbara Cepeda Boheringer, diputada local; Gabriel Elizondo, coordinador de Programas Sociales del Estado en Saltillo; Ernesto Siller, director de Desarrollo Social; entre otras personalidades, además de decenas de vecinos.
