El museo del automóvil se instalaría junto al MUDE, en espacio cedido por el Parque Maravillas
Durante la Semana Santa el Museo del Desierto recibió a cerca de 25 mil visitantes con un ingreso superior a los 3.5 millones de pesos, recuperando las cifras prepandemia, por lo que esperan llegar a los 300 mil este año, informó el subdirector Óscar Flores Cuevas, al señalar que proyectan abrir un museo del automóvil.
El museo del automóvil se instalaría junto al MUDE, en espacio cedido por el Parque Maravillas, pero evitó abundar en lo que dijo será una sorpresa.
“Estamos hablando de la vocación de la Región Sureste, lo automotriz y todo lo que gira en torno a esto. Estamos en la proyección para desarrollar la idea y ponerlo en papel”, sería inversión pública y privada con aportaciones de las empresas.
Añadió que por falta de ingresos durante la pandemia estuvieron a punto de cerrar el MUDE, afortunadamente con el apoyo del gobernador Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís y del entonces alcalde Manolo Jiménez Salinas, quienes recomendaron mantenerlo funcionando porque de cerrar, reabrirlo sería prácticamente imposible.
“Entonces tomamos todas las medidas administrativas necesarias como reducción de sueldo, trabajo en casa y conseguir dinero para dar de comer a los animales, que hay que atenderlos y mantenerlos en las mejores condiciones posibles”.
“En Semana Santa, que es nuestra temporada alta, tuvimos alrededor de 25 mil personas, es muy importante recuperar esa vista, porque durante la pandemia estuvimos prácticamente cerrados y con mucho riesgo”, indicó, al señalar que antes de la pandemia recibían a poco más de 225 mil visitantes y este año esperan cerrar con 300 mil
Señaló que las familias pueden adquirir el paquete familiar de 510 pesos para dos adultos y tres niños. El costo individual sumaría 885 pesos.
Por otra parte, informó que durante la Semana Santa nacieron 3 crías de borrego cimarrón y ya están saturados por el espacio disponible, por lo que realizan trámites ante Profepa y Secretaría del Medio Ambiente para trasladar a los animales adultos a zonas protegidas dentro del estado.
