Registra Coahuila el tercer mayor repunte de COVID-19

Coahuila presenta el tercer mayor repuntes de casos de COVID-19 dentro de esta quinta ola de contagios, de acuerdo con un análisis del experto Arturo Erdély.
En su cuenta de Twitter, el doctor en Ciencias Matemáticas -que ha dado puntual seguimiento a las estadísticas generadas en la pandemia- identificó que 28 de 32 estados han tenido un incremento pronunciado de contagios.
Entre los cinco peores casos ubicó a Quintana Roo, Yucatán, Coahuila, Nuevo León y Sinaloa.
En lo que va de junio, la entidad suma 2 mil 969 contagios, casi el doble de lo que reportó en su conjunto entre marzo y mayo.
De hecho, en estos 27 días de junio, la entidad tiene un promedio de 109.96 casos promedio al día, una cifra 14 veces superior a los 7.48 casos que se promediaron durante mayo.
A la par de esta alza en los contagios, los casos activos se incrementaron notablemente. Ayer, la Secretaría de Salud reportó 2 mil 250 casos activos. Al cierre de mayo, solo reportaba 132.
‘POST COVID PODRÍA AFECTAR
A SISTEMA INMUNE’
El secretario de Salud, Roberto Bernal aseguró ayer que el sistema inmune puede ser afectado por las secuelas que deja el COVID-19. Bernal indicó que tras estudios que se han realizado, se han encontrado numerosos trastornos de salud en quienes padecieron Covid, llegando a la conclusión de que, en algunos casos, esto sucede al formarse anticuerpos que se vuelven en contra del propio organismo.
“Si se confirma la capacidad de producir autoinmunidad, millones de personas sanas en el mundo podrían enfrentarse a problemas de la salud posterior a COVID-19”, expresó.
Ante ello, el Secretario enlistó una serie de padecimientos que han registrado un incremento y están asociados al COVID-19: De 10 a 30 por ciento Síndrome Post-Covid; 30 por ciento Virus Latentes (reactivación); 10 por ciento enfermedades autoinmunes y un número indefinido de neoplasias.
