PIEDRAS NEGRAS, COAH.- El gobernador Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís encabezó la Reunión 70 del Subcomité Técnico Regional COVID-19 Norte, donde afirmó que el buen manejo de la pandemia se tradujo en acciones de Gobierno, al resaltar la importancia de conjuntar esfuerzos para la reactivación económica, del sector educativo y mantener la seguridad en Coahuila, con respaldo del Ejército Mexicano.
El Mandatario dio la bienvenida a las alcaldesas y alcaldes de los municipios de la Región Norte, a quienes reiteró el respaldo de su Gobierno para atender las necesidades de sus habitantes.
“La democracia de este Subcomité se utilizó para tomar acciones en conjunto, que nos permitieran tener las mejores opciones para no afectar a la población”, subrayó Riquelme Solís.
El Gobernador de Coahuila señaló que se aprendió bastante y rápido durante la contingencia sanitaria a través de políticas públicas, que permitieron atender lo que sucedió en cada región.
“Sigue siendo mi compromiso fortalecer a cada Municipio, y tendremos que generar opciones y mecanismos de financiamiento para que tengan lo suficiente para atender cualquier eventualidad”, enfatizó.
El secretario de Educación en el Estado, Francisco Saracho Navarro, Coordinador del Subcomité, manifestó que se promoverá el trabajo armónico con los 10 alcaldes y alcaldesas que se integran a partir de la fecha.
Por su parte, Martha Alicia Romero Reyna, Directora de Prevención y Promoción de la Salud de la Secretaría de Salud del Estado, dio a conocer que a nivel estatal se han aplicado 704 mil 357 pruebas de detección de COVID-19.
A la reunión acudió Manolo Jiménez Salinas, secretario de Desarrollo Social de Coahuila; el Teniente Coronel de Infantería Plinio Bonilla Vázquez, Comandante del 12 Regimiento de Caballería Motorizada; representantes de la Guarnición Militar de la Plaza y Guardia Nacional; Óscar López Elizondo, Rector de la Universidad Tecnológica del Norte de Coahuila , entre diversas autoridades.
