Saltillo celebra la Semana del Bombero con rally y homenajes

En un ambiente cargado de camaradería, arrancaron las actividades de la Semana del Bombero 2024 en Saltillo, una iniciativa impulsada por el gobierno local bajo la dirección de José María Fraustro Siller.
Esta celebración, que honra a los integrantes del Heroico Cuerpo de Bomberos de la ciudad, busca destacar su incansable labor en la protección de la comunidad.

Como parte de los eventos, los bomberos de Saltillo desplegaron sus destrezas en un rally que tuvo lugar en la Estación de Bomberos, situada en la salida a Torreón. Ante la atenta mirada de sus familias, más de 50 elementos participaron en la cuarta edición de esta competencia, que incluyó tanto a hombres como a mujeres. Los concursantes demostraron su pericia en el manejo de vehículos de emergencia y en la ejecución de maniobras de rescate a través de circuitos diseñados para poner a prueba sus habilidades.
SE BUSCA FORTALECER LOS LAZOS EN LAS DEPENDENCIAS
Alberto Antonio Neira Vielma, director de Protección Civil y Bomberos de Saltillo, subrayó que este evento responde a una directriz del alcalde Fraustro para fortalecer los lazos entre los bomberos y sus familias, reconociendo así el sacrificio y esfuerzo que realizan en su misión de proteger vidas y bienes materiales. “Nuestro cuerpo de Bomberos es reconocido a nivel nacional por ser uno de los mejor capacitados y equipados. Contamos con estaciones en distintos sectores de la ciudad, atendiendo a toda la población de Saltillo y sus alrededores”, destacó Neira Vielma.
ACTIVIDADES TERMINAN EL 25 DE AGOSTO
Las actividades en el marco de la Semana del Bombero continuarán hasta el domingo 25 de agosto, con un extenso programa que incluye conferencias sobre finanzas personales, nutrición, bienestar, trabajo en equipo y liderazgo. Además, se llevará a cabo la entrega oficial de la nueva Estación de Bomberos en la colonia Guayulera, junto con la dotación de recursos para mejorar las estaciones existentes.
En un gesto solemne, también se realizará una ceremonia en honor a los bomberos que han perdido la vida en cumplimiento de su deber, quienes con su valentía han enaltecido los valores del cuerpo. Para el público en general, se ha preparado una demostración de extinción de incendios en vehículos, técnicas de rapel y progresión de cuerdas, así como un rally infantil y un curso de RCP en la Ruta Recreativa.
Estas actividades no solo sirven como un reconocimiento a la valentía y dedicación de los bomberos de Saltillo, sino que también acercan a la comunidad a entender y valorar el trabajo que realizan día tras día para garantizar la seguridad de todos.
