Atacan en Torreón escasez de agua potable

Dijo que desde el principio de la administración municipal se ha trabajado en forma muy cercana a la gente para superar los problemas que afronta la población en lo que se refiere al suministro del vital líquido, dice regidor
Torreón, Coahuila. - El regidor Esteban Soto, integrante de la Comisión del Agua en el cabildo de Torreón, informó que están atacando de fondo el problema de desabasto de agua en la ciudad, mediante la perforación de un nuevo pozo y la interconexión de norias en el sector norte.
Dijo que desde el principio de la administración municipal se ha trabajado en forma muy cercana a la gente para superar los problemas que afronta la población en lo que se refiere al suministro del vital líquido.
“Por lo que ahora se lleva a cabo la perforación y equipamiento de este pozo para extraer el agua potable que demanda el sector poniente de la ciudad”, expresó.
Sobre el exhorto a alcalde Jorge Zermeño, solicitado en la Cámara de Diputados por las legisladoras coahuilenses para que se dé soluciones a la escasez de agua, dijo que la administración no necesita un exhorto, porque está haciendo lo que le corresponde y lo está demostrando con trabajo.
Indicó que las suspensiones en el abasto de agua en muchas colonias se deben a los apagones que dejan sin energía eléctrica a los pozos, “es algo que está fuera de nuestras manos”.
Para tratar de evitar estos problemas, dio a conocer que se coordinan con la Comisión Federal de Electricidad, porque perjudica el funcionamiento de las bombas y se para el servicio.
El gerente del Simas se ha entrevistado con funcionarios de la CFE y en más de dos ocasiones les han dicho van a poner atención al tema para evitar los apagones.
