Redobla Mubea su apuesta por Coahuila; invierte 58 mdd

Al ratificar su apuesta por Coahuila, Mubea anunció la instalación de una tercera planta en Ramos Arizpe, en la que invertirá 58 millones de dólares y generará 191 empleos. Adicionalmente, anticipó planes que incluyen inversiones por 240 millones de dólares y la creación de 800 empleos.
Empresa de origen alemán del giro automotor, Mubea instalará su nueva planta en el Parque Industrial Chuy María en Ramos Arizpe, representando así la inversión número 48 que se anuncia este año en Coahuila.

El CEO de Mubea América del Norte, James Sheehan, indicó que a Coahuila llegaron en 2001 y desde el primer día se sintieron en casa, por lo que en el 2012 decidieron establecer una segunda instalación y hoy están anunciando su tercera planta.
El nuevo complejo producirá un resorte o muelle de hojas de vidrio que reemplazará los resortes de hoja de acero, con lo que se ahorrará 40 kilos de peso a los vehículos.
La construcción de la nueva nave -que contará con 16 mil 600 m2- iniciará en septiembre de este año y la producción en 2025.
“Tenemos proyectos adicionales, tenemos placas de enfriamiento para baterías, flechas y rotores para motores eléctricos; hacemos protección de interior de carrocería con fibra de vidrio y también contemplamos ampliar nuestro negocio de resortes helicoidales, doblándolo prácticamente. Estas expansiones abarcarían 35 mil m2 adicionales y sería una inversión adicional en el rango de 240 millones de dólares y 800 empleados adicionales”, abundó Sheehan.
Por su parte, el gobernador Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís señaló que dejará un estado con los cimientos sólidos para que los indicadores se conserven. “Coahuila ya no está colgado de alfileres, la economía de Coahuila está muy sólida, mientras que el gobernador electo, Manolo Jiménez trae muy claro cuál es el reto y la circunstancia de Coahuila para los próximos años”, dijo.
En el caso de los vehículos eléctricos, indicó que hay varias armadoras que iniciarán la fabricación de este tipo de autos, lo que pone en una ruta de crecimiento en todos los aspectos, sobre todo, en el sector educativo.
En el anuncio de inversión estuvieron también el alcalde de Ramos Arizpe, José María Morales; el secretario de Economía, Claudio Bres Garza, y el presidente de Amistad, Marco Ramón Aguirre, entre otros.
