Locura en Saltillo por víspera de Navidad
La mayor afluencia de personas se registró en el centro de la ciudad con calles abarrotadas por compras de “pánico”
El espíritu navideño se hizo presente en la capital coahuilense. Las calles del centro de Saltillo lucieron abarrotadas durante la mañana de este martes por las compras de último minuto. Vialidades como Allende, Acuña, Pérez Treviño y Aldama, fueron las principalmente afectadas por el tráfico tanto vehicular como peatonal.
La afluencia de personas comenzó alrededor de las 10:00 horas. Prácticamente en cada esquina se ubicó un agente de tránsito, pero muy apenas se logró dar circulación a la gran cantidad de coches que buscaron estacionamiento, subir o bajar pasaje. Estacionamientos como el San Esteban, que cuenta con tres accesos en distintas calles, por momentos tuvo que ser cerrado al llegar a su máxima capacidad.
En las manos las personas llevan bolsas cargadas de todo: envolturas para regalo; tenis; sombreros; ropa; juguetes o electrónicos. Aunque hubiera prisa, resultó difícil caminar rápido entre los cientos y cientos de transeúntes que, en momento bajaron de la acera para poder abrirse paso.
A las prisas para la cena
En las inmediaciones y dentro del Mercado de Abastos “Benito Juárez” también hubo gran movilidad de personas buscando los últimos ingredientes para su cena navideña. Desde las 9:00 horas comenzaron a formarse las filas para ingresar al mercado, donde se pudo ver a gente salir con kilos de carne, refrescos, desechables, dulces y demás.
Poca afluencia en las centrales
Hasta mediodía de este martes, la terminal de autobuses al sur de la ciudad mostró una moderada de personas. Nada comparado a lo que se vivió días previos, en los que incluso tuvieron que abrirse nueve carreras extra por día para dar servicio a todos los usuarios.
Se estima que durante los próximos días, cuando lleguen a su fin las fiestas decembrinas, vuelva a aumentar la concurrencia en las distintas centrales camioneras de Saltillo.
