Con mala fe, CFE cortó la luz a AHMSA: Luis Zamudio
MONCLOVA, COAH.- La Comisión Federal de Electricidad actuó con mala fe hacia la empresa Altos Hornos de México, afirmó Luis Zamudio, director general de la acerera y subsidiarias.
En una carta que será publicada este viernes en Monclova, el directivo informa que la empresa cubrió el pago del servicio de la energía eléctrica de la Siderúrgica 1 y otras instalaciones, y se propuso a la CFE el pago diferido sobre el resto, sin embargo la respuesta que obtuvieron fue el corte del suministro en toda la empresa, que pudo haber ocasionado daños graves e irreversibles.
“Con mala fe, la Comisión no respondió y procedió a un corte completo del suministro en todas las instalaciones”, dijo el gerente.
Explica además que la empresa ofreció esta opción, debido a que erogó 54 millones de dólares a Pemex por el concepto del segundo pago del acuerdo reparatorio: “al que se obligó a la empresa” y para este pago se destinó el recurso financiero disponible durante dos semanas.
Aclaró que de no haber sido por los sistemas de generación interna que tiene la acerera al interior que permitieron suplir parcialmente la suspensión del abasto de energía por la CFE, el daño a los equipos habría sido gravísimo y en muchos casos irrecuperable.
EMPRESA SE DICE ATACADA
“Altos Hornos de México y sus empresas han enfrentado en días recientes un recrudecimiento de las acciones agresivas de la dirección de la Comisión Federal de Electricidad, a partir de la aceptación en el Poder Judicial de una demanda por daños y perjuicios por 700 millones de dólares, por la cancelación unilateral e ilegal de los contratos de suministro de carbón para las dos plantas generadoras ubicadas en el municipio de Nava, Coahuila”.
Hace mención que con esta acción se generó la pérdida de cuatro mil empleos directos de la Unidad Micare, y otros ocho mil indirectos en la Región Carbonífera, además hubo un desorden en la industria del carbón de esta zona, toda vez que la CFE inició a asignar pedidos a empresas que no cumplen con la normatividad, enfatizando el tema de seguridad que ha costado la vida a al menos 18 trabajadores que operaban en pozos carboneros, los dos últimos años.
“Asimismo, se ha llevado al deterioro de las plantas generadoras, que se encuentran trabajando al mínimo de su capacidad, con combustibles inadecuados, después de haber permanecido por décadas entre las 10 más eficientes del país”, dijo Luis Zamudio.
AFECTA A FAMILIAS
El director general de Altos Hornos de México declara en la carta, que para la empresa la prioridad es mantener la operación industrial que a través de plantas siderúrgicas y minas representa una fuente directa de sustento para 17 mil familias coahuilenses, y pese a las dificultades que enfrenta genera economía en cuatro regiones de Coahuila.
“Sin embargo, la situación actual demuestra que a la dirección de la Comisión Federal de Electricidad no le importa dañar a Coahuila y a los coahuilenses, como ya lo hizo en al caso de la Unidad Micare”.
