Sin seguridad no hay turismo: Azucena Ramos

La seguridad permite que lleguen miles de turistas a la entidad, que disfrutan de los eventos que hay, o que vivan gratas experiencias en nuestros siete Pueblos Mágicos
En el año recién concluido Coahuila consolidó la reactivación económica, se desarrollaron más de 800 eventos turísticos y se llevaron a cabo grandes inversiones en infraestructura de la industria de hospedaje y de alimentos.
“Sin seguridad no hay turismo”, observó Azucena Ramos Ramos, secretaria de Turismo y Desarrollo de Pueblos Mágicos del Estado, “Coahuila es el estado más seguro del norte del País y el tercero de toda la República Mexicana”.
Lo que permite, añadió, que se realicen convenciones, asambleas y congresos a nivel nacional, además de eventos locales o regionales, como ferias, rodeos, cabalgatas, fiestas patronales, callejoneadas, vendimias, carreras y torneos deportivos, así como festivales gastronómicos y culturales.
“La seguridad permite que lleguen miles de turistas a la entidad, que disfrutan de los eventos que hay, o que vivan gratas experiencias en nuestros siete Pueblos Mágicos o en las ciudades con vocación turística, como Torreón, Monclova, Piedras Negras, Saltillo, Ciudad Acuña o Sabinas”, manifestó.
“No es casualidad que mientras estados vecinos, lamentablemente, vivan situaciones de riesgo, en Coahuila tenemos seguridad. El Gobierno del Estado mantiene una coordinación estrecha y eficaz con el Ejército Mexicano y la Marina, al igual que corporaciones de seguridad de los tres niveles de Gobierno”, destacó.
Estas condiciones, sumadas a la estabilidad sindical y social, así como a una economía fuerte, se reflejan en inversiones privadas en nuevos hoteles y restaurantes, o ampliaciones por más de mil 500 millones de pesos, indicó.
Recientemente, agregó, el Pueblo Mágico de Parras fue sede del Mexico Selection By Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, campeonato internacional dedicado a reconocer los mejores vinos y bebidas espirituosas elaboradas por manos mexicanas, donde 27 jueces de 8 países llevaron a cabo el proceso de evaluación.
“Los jueces y demás asistentes se sorprendieron del clima de seguridad que se vive en el Estado, a diferencia de otras partes del País, y prometieron regresar ya en plan personal o familiar para disfrutar de nuestras bellezas naturales y atractivos turísticos”, finalizó Ramos Ramos.
