Hondureños que intentaban cruzar el río Bravo estuvieron a punto de morir ahogados

Aprovechando la penumbra, los centroamericanos, intentaron cruzar a nado el rio Bravo, cuando repentinamente la fuerte corriente hizo que perdieron el control, por lo que desesperados empezaron a pedir auxilio
De nueva cuenta, el río Bravo, estuvo a punto de cobrar cinco víctimas de origen hondureño, luego de que fueron arrastrados por la corriente y por la baja temperatura que se registra, entre ellos un menor de siete años, cuando intentaron cerca de las 10 de la noche de este martes cruzar de forma ilegal a Estados Unidos a través de la frontera de Eagle Pass, Texas.
Aprovechando la penumbra, los centroamericanos, intentaron cruzar a nado el río Bravo, cuando repentinamente la fuerte corriente hizo que perdieron el control, por lo que empezaron desesperados a pedir auxilio.
Otro grupo de migrantes que intentaban hacer lo mismo, dieron aviso a los cuerpos de emergencia, por lo que minutos después llegaron elementos de bomberos y del Grupo Beta, quienes procedieron a realizar el rescate.
Tras el rescate, los migrantes fueron trasladados al hospital general de la Secretaría de Salud “Salvador Chavarría” para su diagnóstico ya que presentaban signos de hipotermia.
Fueron identificados como Natalia Murcia Hernández, Anderson Rosales Murcia, Alba Luz Velázquez, Elena Rivera Velázquez y Esaú Rivera Velázquez, de 22,7, 24, 26 y 30 respectivamente.
