Alerta Fiscalía por nueva modalidad de extorsión
La Fiscalía General de Coahuila dio a conocer el número telefónico y modus operandi mediante el cual se extorsiona solicitando pagos de hasta 47 mil pesos bajo amenazas usurpando funciones del SAT.
A través de su página oficial en Facebook, la Fiscalía señaló que del número +1 (936) 312-8572 y 52 1 55 1731 3532 los extorsionadores mandan mensajes de WhatsApp diciendo que es un familiar o un amigo, que pronto visitará la ciudad y que necesita mandar un paquete con laptops, celulares y tablets para recogerlo a su llegada.
“En su WhatsApp tiene la foto de algún pariente o amigo, que posiblemente obtienen de cuentas de redes sociales, y piden la dirección para mandar la paquetería a su domicilio mientras llega a la ciudad”, apuntó la publicación que alertó a los cibernautas.
Posteriormente de otro número de la Ciudad de México, el 55 1731 3532, se comunican diciendo que son de FedEx que la paquetería necesita un pago de 2 mil 500 dólares para que puedas recibir el envío, explicó la Fiscalía, revelado el modus operandi.
Posteriormente mandan una lista con todos los artículos que supuestamente contiene los paquetes y envían una imagen de un supuesto documento del SAT, solicitando ahora un pago de 47 mil 570 pesos.
Exhortaron a los coahuilenses a no realizar ningún depósito y así evitar ser víctima de fraude, pues aunque no se han registrado víctimas con pérdidas económicas, ya son varios, los coahuilenses que son timados apelando a su buena voluntad de ayudar.
Al menos cinco cibernautas expresaron al pie de la publicación haber sido víctimas de esta forma de extorsión, aunque no en todos los casos se concretó la estafa y perdieron su dinero.
