Pemex repartirá fertilizantes a agricultores 2024

La empresa estatal, añadió, ha producido el 61.2% del fertilizante entregado entre mayo de 2019 y diciembre de 2022
CDMX.- Octavio Romero Oropeza, director de Petróleos Mexicanos, aseguró que la petrolera cubrirá al 100% el programa de apoyo a pequeños agricultores, que forma parte del Programa Nacional de Fertilizantes, a más tardar a finales de 2024.
El funcionario presentó el avance de dicho programa y explicó que durante esta administración se han entregado más de 676 mil toneladas de fertilizantes a productores del campo.
La empresa estatal, añadió, ha producido el 61.2% del fertilizante entregado entre mayo de 2019 y diciembre de 2022.
La proyección es que en 2024 produzca el 84.2% de los agroquímicos para que, al cierre del mismo año, se cubra el 100% de las metas del programa.
Romero Oropeza compartió en la conferencia del presidente, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, los avances del citado programa y explicó que Pemex adquirió, a sobreprecio y deteriorados, dos complejos de fertilizantes en el sexenio anterior: Agronitrogenados (ahora Pro-Agroindustria) y Grupo Fertinal.
Sin embargo, el daño fue reparado -calculado en 216 millones de dólares por la compra de Agronitrogenados- y el jefe del Ejecutivo giro instrucciones para que estos recursos se usaran en la rehabilitación de las plantas, para incrementar la producción y contribuir a la autosuficiencia alimentaria.
