POLITICÓN: ¿Se sientan a negociar Ricardo Mejía y Armando Guadiana?

I. LOS ALIADOS
Mínima exposición. Esa es la consigna para sus candidatas y candidatos en el frente que comandan, a seis manos, Rodrigo, “Rigo” Fuentes, Elisa Maldonado y Mary Telma Guajardo. Y la directriz, nos dicen quienes tienen la posibilidad de escuchar las conversaciones detrás de las puertas, no admite excepciones, ni siquiera para quienes sí quieren entrarle a debatir con sus oponentes porque tienen la certeza de salir airosos del ejercicio. Candidatos como los panistas Gerardo Aguado y Alfredo Paredes, se asegura, no solamente no tienen inconveniente, sino que consideran que les vendría bien un debate en contra de sus respectivos rivales de la cuatroté, José Ángel “el Arre”, Pérez y César “El Transparente” Flores Sosa. También las tricolores Guadalupe Oyervides y Luz Elena Morales, nos dicen, quisieran dejar claro que no le tienen miedo a este tipo de ejercicios, pero los estrategas aliancistas no quieren correr el riesgo de que la disposición de quienes podrían salir airosos de un debate obligue a los que no, a enfrentar un ejercicio que pudiera resultarles costoso. ¿Será?
II. LOS MORENOS
Si a usted le llamó la atención que el miércoles pasado Armando Guadiana y Ricardo Mejía no se atacaran e incluso, en un momento del debate, “El Viejo del Sombrerón” reconociera que Mejía “tenía razón” en uno de sus planteamientos para luego decir que “ojalá reaccione y se venga con nosotros para ya no batallar...”, el hecho, nos dicen, tiene una razón de ser: en Morena ya decidieron apostar su resto a la posibilidad de que “El Tigre” se siente con ellos a negociar y explorar la posibilidad de sumar esfuerzos en la recta final de la campaña. Y como muestra de buena voluntad, la coordinación de campaña y el propio candidato morenista giraron instrucciones para que cesen las hostilidades públicas entre un bando y el otro. Sin ambigüedades de ningún tipo, se le ha pedido a la raza morena “abstenerse de hacer cualquier tipo de señalamientos, insultos, y ofensas hacia el compañero Ricardo Mejía y su equipo”. ¿La razón de tal petición? Fortalecer los lazos de unidad “ante la posibilidad de caminar juntos por la transformación de Coahuila”, dicen textualmente los mensajes enviados a la militancia y equipos de campaña.
III. LOS REBELDES
Mientras tanto, en el cubil felino de Ricardo “El Tigre” Mejía esperan con ansia la llegada de las encuestas que ya consideren el efecto de los debates en Torreón y Saltillo, ejercicios en los cuales tienen la certeza de haber sumado puntos para su causa, pero no saben si estos serán suficientes para desplazar del segundo puesto a sus excompañeros de viaje. En buena medida, se dice, el optimismo de “la otra cuatroté” es alimentado por el terrible desempeño del candidato guinda y por el hecho de que, en esa batalla en particular, cada punto que le quitan a Morena y logran sumarlo a su cuenta es doble, pues acorta dos puntos la distancia entre un competidor y otro. El problema para ellos es que ya se consumieron tres semanas de campaña y la fuga de votos morenistas hacia su candidatura no parece estar ocurriendo al ritmo que requieren para meterse en la pelea. Habrá que esperar entonces a que comiencen a aparecer las encuestas para ver si los debates han tenido un efecto relevante o solo terminarán siendo un costal de anécdotas para nutrir las conversaciones de café.
IV. LOS NARANJAS
En la cancha udecista, se afirma, hay satisfacción plena por lo cosechado en los debates del IEC y la Coparmex. Y no es porque crean que eso logró meter a Lenin Pérez a la lucha por el despacho principal de Palacio Rosa, sino porque consideran que avanzaron lo suficiente como para superar la meta mínima que requieren para mantener su proyecto con vida: refrendar -por otros tres años- su registro como partido estatal y mantener la banca que hoy tienen en el Congreso del Estado. De acuerdo con el tracking de encuestas de PollsMX, con datos actualizados al 20 de abril pasado, la candidatura del acuñense alcanzaba, en el promedio de las encuestas, una intención de voto de 7 puntos porcentuales, lo cual alimentaba el optimismo en el cuartel naranja. Una sola cosa sigue preocupando a los estrategas de esa campaña: la posibilidad de que, por alguna improbable suma de coincidencias, la elección se vuelva competida y entonces el electorado que hoy piensa apoyarlos considere la necesidad de darle “utilidad” a su voto y termine respaldando una candidatura con posibilidades reales de triunfo.
V. LA CANCHA
Aunque en público el consejero Presidente del IEC, Rodrigo Paredes, asegura que ningún candidato se ha quejado del formato del debate realizado el domingo pasado en el Teatro Nazas de Torreón, nos aseguran que las presiones a la comisión que encabeza Leticia Bravo Ostos estuvieron a la orden del día para que se modificara el formato del último debate de la temporada -a realizarse el lunes 1 de mayo próximo en el Museo del Desierto, en Saltillo. La manzana de la discordia fue la tan llevada y traída “moderación activa” que implica que los moderadores no se limiten a otorgar el uso de la voz a los candidatos, sino que les exijan un desempeño más allá de los lugares comunes. En otras palabras, lo que ocurrió el domingo pasado pero que no a todo mundo gustó. Al final, según los enterados, los intentos de cambiar el formato no prosperaron y el último debate se desarrollará con las mismas reglas del primero y con una sola modificación: el número de invitados que cada partido y candidato va a tener posibilidad de llevar al recinto del encuentro se reducirá de forma significativa. Siete personas por bando, y nadie más, para evitar los exabruptos del domingo anterior.
