Cuenta con cámaras cuya tecnología fue certificada a escala internacional, a razón de contar con un portal de captura de información para toda la Zona Metropolitana de la Laguna
Torreón, Coahuila. - Este lunes, el alcalde Jorge Zermeño Infante y el gobernador de Coahuila, Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, recorrieron las instalaciones del Centro de Inteligencia Municipal (CIM), ubicadas al interior de la Dirección de Seguridad Pública de Torreón (DSPM).
Como parte de la comunicación y las acciones, se acordó la construcción de lenguajes comunes entre el Centro de Comunicación, Cómputo y Comando (C4) y el CIM.
Se hizo la presentación del sistema de videovigilancia que adquirió el Ayuntamiento, además de la adecuación a las instalaciones de la Dirección de Seguridad para la creación de este Centro de Inteligencia Municipal que concentra la información que proporcionan dichas cámaras y que se empatará con el sistema del C4.
El alcalde Jorge Zermeño, recordó que el municipio compró con recursos propios 80 cámaras con capacidad para girar a 360 grados y realizar acercamientos de imagen a 500 metros de distancia.
