DIF Coahuila exhortó a la ciudadanía a tener hábitos de alimentación saludable, como parte de las medidas de prevención contra la diabetes e hipertensión arterial.
La dependencia indicó que consumir frutas, verduras, así como agua natural, es una medida que ayuda a fortalecer la salud y disminuye el riesgo de padecimientos crónicos.
“Es recomendable evitar el consumo de bebidas azucaradas, harinas y comida chatarra, que propician el sobrepeso y la obesidad, lo que constituye un factor de riesgo para desarrollar padecimientos como la diabetes e hipertensión arterial”, expresó.

Así mismo, DIF Coahuila informó que cuenta con un equipo de nutriólogos al servicio de la comunidad, mismos que brindan orientación sobre alimentación saludable.
Al tiempo, la dependencia indicó que tanto instituciones educativas como empresas pueden solicitar jornadas de capacitación que permitan promover hábitos de vida saludable.
Señaló que las personas, empresas o instituciones que deseen recibir este tipo de capacitación, pueden acudir directamente a las oficinas del DIF estatal o a sus Coordinaciones, para agendar la visita del equipo de nutriólogos de la dependencia.
