‘Me voy, pero no me voy’, dice el alcalde Manolo Jiménez

El alcalde de Saltillo, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, entregó los últimos certificados de su administración a integrantes de los grupos ciudadanos de seguridad, para cerrar con 85 mil los saltillenses formando parte de este programa.
En su intervención, el Presidente Municipal calificó a los comités ciudadanos de seguridad como política pública más exitosa de su gobierno, al ser probada y medida, recordando que al principio la gente estaba reacia a integrarlos.
En el evento, el Alcalde agradeció “de corazón” a todos los sectores y a todos los saltillenses, haber colaborado para lograr que Saltillo fuera una de las mejores ciudades de México para vivir.
“Me voy, pero no me voy, gracias a una invitación del Gobernador Miguel Riquelme seguiremos trabajando por el bien de nuestra gente, en un tema relacionado en lo social”, apuntó.
RESULTADOS DE SEGURIDAD
Por su parte, Federico Fernández Montañez, comisario de Seguridad y Participación Ciudadana municipal, destacó en su intervención los resultados generales de la administración en seguridad.
Informó que se pasó de 99 a 213 patrullas; se dejan 36 casetas policiacas móviles con cámaras integradas al Centro de Control y Comando, cuando al iniciar el actual mandato municipal no había ninguna.
“A la llegada del alcalde Manolo Jiménez, la Policía de Saltillo no estaba completamente armada, se adquirieron a lo largo de 4 años 400 armas cortas y 50 largas”, detalló.
Al referirse a los Comités Ciudadanos de Seguridad, recordó que éstos no existían, pero a la fecha hay 486 grupos de WhatsApp con 85 mil ciudadanos integrados, y más de 300 mil reportes atendidos a lo largo de 4 años.
Asimismo, Fernández recordó que la capital de Coahuila está posicionada entre las 5 ciudades con mejor percepción de seguridad en el país, con una de las policías más confiables, además de que, comparando 2017 contra 2021, la incidencia delictiva del fuero común bajó en 66 por ciento.
En el evento, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Calderón, secretario general de la UAdeC, entregó al Alcalde y a la ciudad el Libro Blanco, en el que se documentó académicamente el modelo de seguridad del municipio.
ENTREGA ESCRITURAS
Más tarde, en el Parque El Chapulín, Jiménez Salinas entregó más de 300 escrituras a igual número de familias, con lo que se les dio certeza jurídica sobre su patrimonio.
Durante la presente administración fueron más de 2 mil títulos de propiedad los entregados, recalcó el Presidente Municipal.
“Con esto cumplimos en el Eje de Saltillo Incluyente, donde muy claramente dice en nuestras propuestas que desarrollaríamos un gran programa de escrituración; y según los datos que dio el representante del Gobierno del Estado, éste ha sido el programa municipal más grande que se ha tenido en la historia de Saltillo”, abundó.
