Obras en Arroyo del Cuatro Bajo fueron frenados por Estado: Municipio
El director de infraestructura y servicios del municipio, Collins Creth Camp Bennett, dijo que verán la posibilidad de obtener de nuevo un monto para realizar esta obra.
Los recursos federales para la canalización del drenaje Cuatro Bajo en Saltillo se perdieron debido a que el gobierno del estado incumplió con su parte en este proyecto, declaró el director de infraestructura y servicios del municipio, Collins Creth Camp Bennett, quien dijo que verán la posibilidad de obtener de nuevo un monto para realizar esta obra.
El funcionario municipal señaló que el Gobierno de la República aportó poco más de 160 millones de pesos para la canalización del cauce, al Gobierno de Saltillo le tocaba obtener la liberación de los predios particulares y a la administración estatal la construcción de unos puentes, y esto último es algo que no sucedió.
“El compromiso es que la federación iba aportar 166 millones, el municipio tenía el compromiso de hacer la carta compromiso de los propietarios e indemnización y el gobierno del estado hacer los puentes. Está detenido ahorita todo”, explicó el director de Infraestructura y Servicios.
El alcalde Isidro López Villarreal declaró el pasado lunes que el monto que había destinado la Conagua se había perdido “debido a algunas decisiones que se tomaron”, a pesar de que el proyecto ya contaba con todas las autorizaciones necesarias.
A pesar de que esta obra se ha retrasado durante varios años, Collins Camp confía en que buscarán realizarla en esta gestión municipal, “no creo que se descarte, yo creo que a raíz de esto va a tomar un poco más de importancia puesto que ya se dio cuenta todo mundo que es sumamente necesario”, aseveró.
En diciembre de 2015 se dio a conocer que este proyecto fue autorizado por la Comisión Nacional del Agua, en el cual contemplaba la canalización de este cauce y la construcción de tres puentes vehiculares.
