Rescatan a perro con desnutrición
El propietario accedió a entregar la mascota para donación pues no estaba en posibilidades de brindar los cuidados.
La Policía Ambiental rescató un perro boxer que se encontraba en un cuadro de desnutrición y abandono arriba de una azotea, esto en el fraccionamiento El Olmo.
Tras entrevistarse con el propietario del animal, se le explicó que la Ley de Protección y Trato Digno para los Animales de Coahuila no permite ese tipo de incidentes que lastiman, en ese caso a un perro.
Al señalarle las omisiones en que se estaba incurriendo, el propietario accedió a entregar la mascota para donación pues no estaba en posibilidades de brindar los cuidados.
Posteriormente éste fue trasladado a las instalaciones de Control y Bienestar Animal de Saltillo, donde fue puesto bajo cuidados veterinarios para su rehabilitación y adopción.
CUIDADOS DE MASCOTAS
Además de los cuidados básicos que se debe tener como propietario de una mascota, como proporcionar agua, alimento y resguardo de las inclemencias del clima, las leyes vigentes regulan el trato que se les debe proporcionar.
Los poseedores de animales deberán tratarlos humanitariamente y mantenerlos en buenas condiciones higiénico sanitarias, de acuerdo a las características propias de la especie. De lo contrario habrá sanción.
