Darán puntual seguimiento a agresión a migrantes en Torreón por parte del GRL y Migración
TORREÓN, COAH.- Sobre la agresión a migrantes por parte de elementos del Grupo de Reacción Laguna (GRL) y del Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM), que derivó en cinco centroamericanos heridos, entre ellos una adolescente; el alcalde Román Alberto Cepeda dijo que la Comisión de Derechos Humanos del Estado abrió una investigación de oficio y se habrá de dar seguimiento.

Comentó que la unidad de fuerzas especiales acudió a los patios de Ferromex donde se encontraban unos 50 centroamericanos venezolanos, en apoyo a una petición que recibieron por parte del Instituto Nacional de Migración.
SIEMPRE RESPETAN DERECHOS HUMANOS
La Policía de Torreón siempre está atenta al respeto de los derechos humanos y a la buena coordinación con los demás órdenes de gobierno, lo que ha permitido mantener seguro el municipio.
No es la primera vez que el INM pide el respaldo de la corporación, pero sí es la primera vez que se registra un asunto de esta naturaleza.
Los migrantes denuncian agresiones por parte del GRL e intentos de extorsión, en virtud de que exigían mil pesos a cada uno de ellos para permitirles abordar el tren de carga hacia la fronteriza Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, de lo contrario serían detenidos y después deportados a su país de origen.
Sobre estas supuestas amenazas y presunto intento de extorsión, dijo el Alcalde que se hará una investigación y las conclusiones se harán del conocimiento público, porque al final del día se trata de una agresión a personas que solo buscan una oportunidad para mejorar su calidad de vida y merecen respeto a sus garantías individuales.
