Apoyan Estados Americanos el mandato de Pedro Castillo
NUEVA YORK, EU.- La Organización de los Estados Americanos aprobó ayer por aclamación una resolución de apoyo al gobierno de Perú y pidió la preservación de la institucionalidad democrática tras las acusaciones que el presidente Pedro Castillo ha recibido durante meses por parte de la oposición y la fiscal federal de su país.
La resolución se votó después de que un representante de la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos dijera que Perú vive un escenario de “crisis constitucional”.
La resolución de la OEA pide que las acciones de “todos los actores” en Perú se enmarquen en el “respeto al Estado de Derecho”. También destaca artículos de la Carta Democrática Interamericana que reconocen “la subordinación” constitucional de todas las instituciones del Estado “a la autoridad civil legalmente constituida”.
