Artistas saltillenses invitan al 3er Festival Internacional Performancia

En su edición 2018, contará con invitados de Guadalajara, Culiacán, Mérida, Ciudad de México, Saltillo y Montreal
El performance es una disciplina artística en muchas ocasiones poco comprendida, incluso por otros colegas artistas, pues su ubicación entre las artes visuales y escénicas la vuelve difícil de catalogar y entender.
Sin embargo, el tipo de herramientas que ofrece para la expresión corporal a un creativo es tal que su popularidad sólo ha ido en crecimiento, desde sus primeros pasos a mediados del siglo pasado y para darle difusión es que nació el Festival Internacional Performancia.
Ahora, en su edición 2018, contará con invitados Guadalajara, Culiacán, Mérida, Ciudad de México, Saltillo y Montreal, quienes traerán a los espacios de la ciudad una muestra de lo que este arte es capaz de hacer.
Creado por el saltillense Christian Herrera, el festival contará con la presencia de artistas como Christine Brault, artista que ha trabajado no sólo el performance sino también el arte relacional y ha sido becaria del Consejo de las Artes de Canadá.
También estará la capitalina Agatha Fuku, bailarina licenciada en danza contemporánea por la Escuela Nacional de Danza Clásica, que encontró en el performance otro tipo de expresión corporal.
Del mismo modo se darán cita las artistas Lorena Barrera, quién ha trabajado con intervenciones colectivas, Cutzi Salgado, becaria del PECDA, fotógrafa y tallerista de dicha disciplina y Kiyo Gutiérrez, performer e historiadora que integra elementos prehispánicos en sus piezas y el propio organizador, Christian Herrera.
El evento se realizará los días viernes siete y sábado ocho de septiembre y comenzará con una inauguración a las 16:00 horas en las instalaciones de la Universidad Valle de México Campus Saltillo, seguida del performance “Cava”, por Lorena Barrera, de Mérida, en el mismo lugar.
Posteriormente, a las 17:00 horas se llevará a cabo la mesa de diálogo “El cuerpo como espacio de resistencia” entre todos los artistas invitados al encuentro, y a continuación Cutzi Salgado de Cuiliacán se presentará con “Apteryx”, también en la UVM.
Luego, en punto de las 21:00 horas, el bar Roots será la sede del performance “Tumbaroza working in progress” de Agatha Fuku de Ciudad de México.
Al día siguiente las actividades con “Ausencias” del tapatío Kiyo Gutierrez, en la Alameda Zaragoza en punto de las 16:30 y media hora después la canadiense Christine Brault hará lo propio con su pieza “¡No te silenciarán! Almas del desierto y de la tierra” en el mismo espacio, para cerrar con el festival a las 19:00 horas en Casa Tiyahui con la participación de Christian Herrera y su performance “Idiotidigitalización”.
En la edición 2018 se contará con invitados de Guadalajara, Culiacán, Mérida, entre otros.
