Alrededor de 15 inmuebles protegidos por el Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH) que se encuentran catalogados también entre las 700 propiedades del Centro Histórico, solicitaron licencia para remodelar algún inmueble histórico de la zona centro de Saltillo, la mayoría de ellas, tiendas de conveniencia.
“Hay que poner en antecedente que la gente no puede hacer este tipo de barbaridades por sus pistolas y la otra que las empresas de conveniencia si creen que pueden hacer lo que quieran, decirles que no, que es parte de la identidad de la ciudad”.
El delegado del INAH Francisco Aguilar Moreno apuntó que al igual como se concretó la desaparición de la esquina de General Cepeda y Pérez Treviño, hay entre un 5 y 7 por ciento de predios con peticiones de cambios de uso de suelo o licencias de construcción, tan solo en el INAH.
“Hay muchos inmuebles en la misma situación, a lo mejor un 5% ha venido a solicitar licencias de uso de suelo o de factibilidad para instalar un negocio, lo que nosotros tratamos de hacer es adecuar los espacios a las necesidades que tienen los usuarios“, señala el delegado del INAH, quien está convencido que en el caso más reciente de demolición el responsable es el propietario y no la empresa de las franquicias.
“Se está para apoyarlos, si una persona física necesita un proyecto de construcción nosotros le decimos cómo hacerlo, se tenía la creencia de que el INAH no te deja hacer nada, pero el ejemplo de soluciones es el Cine Palacio, que es una zapatería pero no se modificó y se conservó la identidad”.
“En este año me tocaron, cinco, a lo mejor una boutique, un consultorio dental, una zapatería en la calle Victoria, de Oxxo dos, pero no eran edificios históricos, antes ellos siempre nos preguntaban, de hecho estoy casi seguro que ellos no hicieron la demolición sino que la hizo el propietario”.
