Los cierres constantes en las vías que comunican a Saltillo y Monterrey tienen un fuerte impacto negativo en la economía de la región e incluso del país entero, coinciden cámaras empresariales e industriales de Coahuila.
Al paso de “Alberto” por el norte de México se registraron diversas afectaciones tanto en la carretera libre, como en la de cuota, por lo que la circulación se verá afectada, en el caso de la autopista, hasta este sábado. Este es solo es uno de los muchos motivos por lo que las vías son cerradas frecuentemente, pues en ellas son constantes los accidentes automovilísticos, el congestionamiento vial y el mal clima.
Ante ello, empresarios coahuilenses nuevamente reprocharon la falta de atención del gobierno federal a dicha situación, la cual los ha llevado a exigir, cuestionar e incluso proponer posibles soluciones.
En ese sentido, Alejandro Pepi de la Peña, presidente de la Cámara Nacional de Comercio (CANACO) en la región, compartió que hace algunos días solicitó personalmente al titular de la Secretaría de Infraestructura federal, Jorge Nuño Lara, que dentro del programa de obras para el próximo año se contemple la grave situación, pues a pesar de que hace 15 años se pensaba que la apertura de la autopista sería una solución, ésta también se vio saturada al poco tiempo.
“Vemos las filas enormes y kilométricas de camiones de carga y están varados ya no horas sino días”, dijo.
Pepi de la Peña consideró que los cierres constantes en las carreteras perjudican la competitividad del país, de Coahuila e incluso de Texas, a causa de los retrasos en las exportaciones y entregas, así como de las pérdidas millonarias en accidentes automovilísticos.
Con ello coincidió Eduardo Garza, presidente de la Cámara de la Industria de Transformación (Canacintra) en Coahuila, quien señaló que las pérdidas millonarias por día “son en dólares y hasta de tres dígitos”, por lo que reprochó la falta de recursos federales para invertir en la ampliación de las vías o la construcción de una nueva, pues por sí solo el estado no podría financiar una obra de dicha magnitud.
“Tenemos que tomar acciones claras y contundentes y no nada más hablar o decir como los últimos 6 años, esto ha sido una burla y esto ha sido el resultado de todo esto”, dijo.
“Esto se está colapsando, nos va a quitar competitividad en la Región Sureste, los cierres causan sobrecostos importantes para las empresas y definitivamente está complicando la movilidad en forma absoluta. Es una locura para todos los niveles”, agregó.
