Destacan beneficios de recibir atención psicológica

Esto permite prevenir conductas que afecten a la persona o su entorno, sino que mejora la calidad de vida de quien la recibe y de su familia
En Coahuila existen 28 Centros de Atención e Integración Familiar con el objetivo de brindar terapias psicológicas a quienes así lo soliciten.
José Guadalupe Flores Flores, titular de dichos centros, indicó que recibir atención psicológica no solo permite prevenir conductas que afecten a la persona o su entorno, sino que mejora la calidad de vida de quien la recibe y de su familia.
“Debemos darle un enfoque positivo al tema de recibir la asistencia de un psicólogo. Así como visitamos a un médico general, especialista o a un dentista para monitorear nuestro estado de salud físico, nos ayudaría también contar con la asistencia de un especialista para el manejo de nuestra salud mental”, indicó.
Para ello, Flores Flores apuntó que los 28 Centros de Atención e Integración Familiar que operan el DIF Coahuila brindan servicios de forma gratuita, ya sea a través de terapias personales o de formafamiliar.
“Además, quienes acuden a recibir nuestras terapias tienen la garantía de secrecía en el manejo de sus casos, ya que la premisa que tenemos es otorgar servicios de calidad y con profesionalismo”, subrayó.
Puntualizó que de 2018 a la fecha se han otorgado más de 55 mil terapias.
Además de terapias presenciales, también se ofrecen atenciones virtuales por la vía del Zoom, con el fin de prevenir contagios de COVID-19.
La atención psicológica está orientada a dotar y promover los recursos individuales, familiares o conyugales como un elemento activo del propio cambio. La duración y frecuencia del tratamiento es variable en función de las características de cada caso, promoviendo procesos terapéuticos breves y flexibles.
Frente a la ansiedad, el miedo o el enojo que nos provoca una situación complicada, las personas pueden llegar a recurrir a opciones que prometen soluciones rápidas o, en el extremo contrario, tal vez no se sientan con la confianza de aceptar ayuda de un extraño. En cualquier caso, es importante vencer las resistencias e informarse acerca de cuál es la atención más adecuada tanto para el problema en cuestión como para el individuo.
