De esta manera, sociedad y Gobierno generan herramientas de consulta e información para fortalecer la promoción turística y atraer más visitantes.
La Secretaría de Turismo y Desarrollo de Pueblos Mágicos del Estado, el Municipio de Saltillo y la Oficina de Convenciones y Visitantes de Saltillo, unieron esfuerzos para la instalación de 21 tótems en puntos estratégicos de la ciudad y 8 tubulares en hoteles, que contienen información turística de la capital del Estado y de la región, así como de la Ruta Vinos & Dinos.
Blas Flores González, director de Promoción Económica y Turismo de Saltillo; Martha Moncada Zertuche, directora de Promoción Turística de Sectur Coahuila, y Raúl Rodarte Leos, director de la OCV Saltillo, fueron los encargados de inaugurar la nueva señalización.
La señalética restaurada y renovada se encuentra en plazas como Nueva Tlaxcala, Madero, Manuel Acuña y del Congreso; Museo de las Aves y Museo del Desierto, Alameda Zaragoza y la calle Victoria. En algunos sitios se ubica más de una estructura.
Para continuar con la promoción del destino y la oferta turística, los tótems permitirán que el turista y visitante accedan a información básica.
Además, disponen de Código QR para mayores datos y referencias sobre la Ruta Vinos & Dinos y los atractivos de la ciudad “Vívelo en Saltillo”, que ofrece la OCV local.

La secretaria de Turismo de Coahuila, Azucena Ramos Ramos, destacó la coordinación con el Municipio de Saltillo, los empresarios, la OCV, Museo del Desierto y Vinos de Coahuila, que permiten la consolidación de proyectos en favor del turismo.
