Piden al IMSS hospital de alta especialidad para Saltillo

El crecimiento industrial y poblacional obligan a contar con atención médica adecuada
La diputada María Bárbara Cepeda Boehringer propuso la construcción de un hospital de alta especialidad en Saltillo, por parte del IMSS ante el crecimiento industrial y poblacional para evitar que los pacientes y sus familiares tengan que trasladarse hasta Monterrey o Torreón para recibir la atención adecuada.
“Requerimos contar con una unidad médica de alta especialidad que dé atención a padecimientos más complejos desde el nacimiento hasta los últimos días de vida, los cuales requieren de recursos tecnológicos avanzados pues el crecimiento industrial, comercial y demográfico en la región no frenará”, dijo.

Añadió que Saltillo y la Región Sureste están en constante crecimiento industrial, con mayor desarrollo económico y social, lo que atrae a más trabajadores y familias diversos estados, además de que se tiene un crecimiento poblacional natural.
Tan solo Saltillo, cuenta con más de 900 mil habitantes, 21.4 por ciento más que en 2010 y la población demanda servicios diversos, como es el de la atención a la salud.
El Seguro Social cuenta con alrededor de 12 instituciones de salud en la Región Sureste, tanto en la zona rural como urbana, con hospitales y unidades de cosulta externa. 6 en Saltillo, 3 en Ramos Arizpe y Parras de la Fuente, Arteaga y General Cepeda contabilizan solo 1, ninguno brinda atención de alta especialidad.
“A pesar de que la región cuenta con más de un millón de habitantes, no tienen posibilidad de acudir a recibir un servicio especializado que les permita atender ciertos problemas de salud. Tienen que trasladarse, bajo su propio costo y con la suerte de poder ser atendidos, a los hospitales especializados de Torreón o Monterrey”, dijo.
El crecimiento poblacional y el desarrollo económico y social, demandan con urgencia el contar con servicios médicos de alta especialidad, incluso, el alcalde José María Fraustro Siller informó semanas atrás que Saltillo necesita de un hospital de ese tipo y que el IMSS está obligado constitucionalmente a construirlo y que hay disponibilidad de terrenos para desarrollar el proyecto.
“Nos sumamos a esta buena causa, que de ser atendida por la autoridad competente, tendrá un gran impacto disminuyendo la carga económica, física y emocional de los pacientes que requieren de este tipo de atención especializada”, aseguró.
