‘No se ha generado la 6a. ola, pero hay que cuidarse’: Roberto Bernal Gómez
Según el Reporte Coahuila del Plan Estatal de Prevención y Control COVID-19, el día se ayer se registraron 6 nuevos casos en la entidad, sumando a la fecha 885 casos activos, 454 de los cuales son saltillenses
Roberto Bernal Gómez, secretario de Salud en Coahuila, informó que si bien se ha registrado un aumento de los casos de COVID-19 en el Estado, no se ha generado una sexta ola; sin embargo, aclaró que las labores del sector salud en colaboración con la población y los cuidados que tengan de llevar a cabo los protocolos establecidos, seguirán enfocados en la prevención.
Según el Reporte Coahuila del Plan Estatal de Prevención y Control COVID-19, el día se ayer se registraron 6 nuevos casos en la entidad, sumando a la fecha 885 casos activos, 454 de los cuales son saltillenses.
También indica que en la entidad hay 38 personas hospitalizadas a causa de la enfermedad: 23 en Torreón, 4 en Monclova, 8 en Saltillo, 1 en Ramos Arizpe y 2 en Piedras Negras.
“Las recomendaciones que SS sugieren tres protocolos referentes a la preparación: contención y mitigación de la enfermedad, donde se solicita a las autoridades sanitarias fortalecer la vigilancia epidemiológica; gestionar, distribuir y aplicar vacunas y asegurar la disponibilidad de pruebas; además de rastrear los casos, asegurar la disponibilidad de tratamientos y continuar con la difusión masiva de medidas de prevención”, explicó.
En este sentido, agregó, también la población debe sumarse y acudir a consulta médica al presentar síntomas, completar esquemas de vacunación y aplicarse dosis de refuerzo.
Agregó que no se debe bajar la guardia, por lo que se debe seguir con la ventilación de áreas, uso correcto de cubrebocas y quedarse en casa al presentar síntomas, evitar aglomeraciones de personas y lugares mal ventilados.
Bernal Gómez destacó que, además, es importante recordar que aunque se cuenten con las vacunas aplicadas, podemos contagiarnos y seguir contagiando: “Las vacunas protegen contra hospitalización y muerte, no contra contagios. Además, un prueba negativa no descarta al 100 por ciento que no se tenga COVID, por lo que el aislamiento es vital para ejercer la responsabilidad; no es necesario prueba de control negativa, es suficiente con completar tiempo de aislamiento”, recomendó el titular de Salud.
