Suscriben convenio Canirac Saltillo y Kaena

La Cámara Nacional de la Industria Restaurantera y Alimentos Condimentados (Canirac) Saltillo suscribió un convenio de colaboración con la asociación Kaena, además de que invitaron a participar en el premio Kaena Mujeres con Valor.
El presidente de Canirac Saltillo, Éder López González, dijo que el acuerdo tiene por objetivo establecer las bases para una colaboración enfocada en la generación y desarrollo de actividades dirigidas al empoderamiento de las mujeres, además de incluir capacitación para las mujeres que cuentan con un rol específico en la industria restaurantera.

Además, se contará con la colaboración de los socios de la Canirac (cerca de 300 en la Región Sureste y 600 a nivel estatal) para la realización de actividades a favor de la mujer coahuilense, así como apoyar el lanzamiento y difusión del premio Kaena Mujer con Valor.
La vicepresidenta de Mujeres Canirac, Geraldine Gil Ramos, indicó que actualmente las mujeres representan más del 50% de los colaboradores de la industria restaurantera, y arriba del 30% se halla en puestos de mando o son dueñas de negocios.
PRESENTAN PREMIO
Mónica Elizabeth Martínez y Karla Natividad González presentaron la convocatoria del premio Kaena Mujer con Valor, el cual va enfocado al empoderamiento de las mujeres y que las empresas promuevan buenas prácticas que sirvan para combatir la violencia de género.
La convocatoria y las bases se pueden encontrar en www.kaenamujer.org. El premio pretende igualar sueldos y salarios, que haya mujeres en consejos directivos y que las empresas tengan protocolos contra el hostigamiento sexual, entre otros objetivos.
