En Torreón, ebrio conductor mata a taxista y a pasajera
Ambas víctima perecieron en el lugar del accidente de forma instantánea; detienen al responsable
TORREÓN, COAH.- Un taxista y su pasajera murieron la madrugada de ayer en un choque ocurrido en la Zona Centro y que habría sido causado por un conductor ebrio, cuya acompañante resultó lesionada y fue hospitalizada.
Los fallecidos fueron identificados como Saúl M. R., de 66 años, conductor de un Nissan March con el número económico 348 de la línea Mandarinas; y su pasajera, Miriam J. I., de 47 años.
Ambos fallecieron de forma instantánea, pues a la llegada de los paramédicos de la Cruz Roja ya no les apreciaron signos vitales.
El probable responsable, Pablo “N”, de 24 años, manejaba un Audi azul pese a encontrarse en estado de ebriedad, reveló el certificado médico del Tribunal de Justicia Municipal. Se ignora la identidad de la mujer que lo acompañaba, pero fue trasladada en una ambulancia al Sanatorio Español.
Los hechos ocurrieron alrededor de la 1:00 horas de ayer en el cruce de la avenida Victoria y la calle Madero, donde además resultó afectado un auto Suzuki blanco que se encontraba estacionado.
El accidente fue reportado al Sistema de Emergencias 911 con dos personas prensadas en un taxi.
Se movilizaron ambulantes de la Cruz Roja, elementos policiacos, así como de Vialidad y de Bomberos, además de peritos de Tránsito.
De acuerdo con el reporte del accidente, el conductor del Audi circulaba hacia el oriente por la avenida Victoria, pero en el cruce con la calle Madero chocó al taxi que se desplazaba hacia el norte.
A causa del impacto, la unidad de alquiler salió proyectada hacia la acera norte de la avenida Victoria, donde derribó un poste de madera, golpeó al Suzuki estacionado y éste a su vez chocó contra una finca; mientras que el Audi quedó sobre la misma acera.
El conductor responsable fue detenido y puesto a disposición del agente del Ministerio Público para la resolución de su situación legal.
