Alumnos monclovenses, a final del programa ‘Salvemos el mar... SE AHOGA’
Estudiantes con aptitudes sobresalientes destacan en evento nacional, que premia creatividad y talento
TORREÓN, COAH.- Alumnos de Monclova acudirán a la etapa final del Programa de Fortalecimiento de los Servicios de Educación Especial “Salvemos el mar... SE AHOGA”..
“Este evento fue organizado por la Subsecretaría de Educación Básica, por medio del Programa para el Fortalecimiento de los Servicios de Educación Especial”, afirmó Flor Rentería, coordinadora de Servicios Educativos en La Laguna.

En el evento participaron 40 alumnos con aptitudes sobresalientes; quienes acuden a asesorías extraescolares a las aulas que se les llaman “Aulas Lego”.
COLABORAN CON EMPRESA
Afirmó que hace tiempo la Secretaría de Educación firmó un convenio con la empresa Lego y ellos coadyuvan para que estos infantes desarrollen habilidades del pensamiento, del razonamiento y con los materiales que les facilitan participar en retos.
Esta convocatoria fue con motivo de promover el cuidado del medio ambiente, ya que los personajes que tenían que construir eran personajes del mar, como peces y tortugas, primordialmente.
La actividad tiene dos propósitos, advirtió: Desarrollar habilidades del pensamiento lógico y matemático, pero además promover el cuidado del mar, sostuvo.
Estuvieron alumnos de otras entidades del País, como Nuevo León y de otros municipios de Coahuila, como de Saltillo y Monclova, y Organizados en y trabajado en equipos.
La directora de este Programa en la entidad, Silvia Palomo, explicó: “Gracias al apoyo estatal y de la empresa Lego se pudo contar con los viáticos para que los alumnos pudieran viajar de otros estados a la Región Laguna”.
“Esto nos motiva y compromete a seguir siendo una zona que impulsa la participación de los alumnos en todo este tipo de concursos. Sabemos que estas competencias no sólo están enfocadas a trabajar la parte racional”, dijo la coordinadora.
Cuando los alumnos trabajan en equipo ponen en práctica muchos conocimientos, pero también valores, y si es algo que les gusta hacer, lo disfrutan y esto se vuelve en un aprendizaje significativo, que formará parte de sus estructuras mentales para construir nuevos saberes.
