Controlan incendio en avenida Constitución de Monclova
Las llamas alcanzaron varios metros de altura
Monclova, Coahuila.- Un fuerte incendio en las orillas del Río Monclova, al norte de la ciudad, provocó que parte de la avenida Constitución fuera cerrada a la circulación durante varias horas.
Las llamas alcanzaron varios metros de altura y la gran columna de humo fue visible en todo el municipio.
Personal de Protección Civil y Bomberos arribaron a la avenida Constitución con calle Álamo, a la altura del Parque Las Américas, para cerrar calles, desalojar vecinos y apagar el fuego con motobombas.
El incendio se extendió 500 metros por el Río Monclova durante casi tres horas, consumió carrizos y parte de los mismos cayeron en forma de lluvia varios metros alrededor por lo que fue necesario acordar el área.
El director de Protección Civil y Bomberos, Agustín Ramos Pérez informó que las llamas alcanzaron parte de la avenida y temían que viviendas fueran afectadas, pero finalmente pudieron controlarlo.
Comunicó que la mayoría de los incendios que se registran en el margen del Río Monclova son provocados por ciudadanos que queman basura.
“La gente es muy inconsciente e irresponsable, la gente quema la basura y provoca este tipo de incendios”, declaró.
