‘Guerra Rusia-Ucrania esfumará recuperación’

CDMX.- El impacto en los precios de materias primas y energéticos provocado por el conflicto entre Rusia y Ucrania se reflejará de manera importante en el crecimiento de América Latina, con lo que la recuperación después del golpe del COVID-19 se verá mermada, dijo Moody’s Investors Service.
“La dinámica de la inflación arrastrará el crecimiento económico de América Latina. Hemos identificado tres canales de transmisión del riesgo geopolítico al riesgo crediticio global, como resultado del conflicto militar entre Rusia y Ucrania: precio de las materias primas e interrupciones del suministro; interrupción financiera, económica y comercial; y desafíos de seguridad, incluido el riesgo cibernético”, dijo la firma.
En el análisis “la invasión rusa de Ucrania exacerbará la inflación y frenará el crecimiento económico”, Moody’s resaltó que los efectos directos del conflicto militar en América Latina serán menores que en la mayoría de las demás regiones; sin embargo, la aceleración de los aumentos de los precios de los combustibles y los alimentos desde el comienzo de la invasión está empeorando las presiones inflacionarias.
