DIF Coahuila reparte alimentos a familias de Torreón afectadas por lluvias

Desde las 8 de la mañana se prepararon cerca de mil 500 raciones de alimentos calientes para niños, niñas, personas adultas y familias afectadas por las fuertes lluvias
Torreón, Coahuila La Presidenta Honoraria del DIF Coahuila, Marcela Gorgón, habilitó un comedor comunitario en la escuela Sertoma de la colonia Santiago Ramírez, para apoyar las labores de auxilio y reforzar la atención a familias damnificadas.
Desde las 8 de la mañana se prepararon cerca de mil 500 raciones de alimentos calientes para niños, niñas, personas adultas y familias afectadas por las fuertes lluvias.
La esposa del gobernador agradeció la solidaridad del personal que proporciona atención a las familias necesitadas y los exhortó a seguir apoyando hasta que se levante la contingencia.
En la zona afectada por los aguaceros se presentaron elementos de Fuerza Coahuila para llevar comida a las familias que están siendo desalojadas de sus hogares ante el temor de que se desborde la laguna de regulación del colector pluvial Noas.
El Director del DIF Coahuila, Roberto Cárdenas Zavala, informó que a partir de este lunes las instalaciones del DIF Coahuila en Saltillo y el edificio Coahuila, de esta ciudad, se instalarán centros de acopio en apoyo a las familias afectadas.
Invitó a la población a ayudar con jabón detergente, agua embotellada, pañales, alimentos no perecederos, impermeables, escobas y cubetas, entre otros.
Podrán donar también fórmula de bebé y medicamentos (antibióticos, antipiréticos, antigripales, antibióticos, antidiarréicos, antiinflamatorios, analgésicos y material de curación).
Víctor Cárdenas, director de Vigilancia Nutricional y Desarrollo Comunitario, informó que el comedor comunitario permanecerá en esta escuela primaria hasta levantarse la contingencia.
