Confirman tragedia, migrante ecuatoriano murió ahogado en el Río Bravo
PIEDRAS NEGRAS, COAH.- Autoridades de Eagle Pass, Texas, rescataron el cuerpo de un migrante ecuatoriano, luego de que hace nueve días intentó cruzar el Río Bravo junto a su esposa e hijo menor, pero fue arrastrado por la corriente.
Fue el pasado 1 de febrero cuando, Patricio Bonilla, de 24 años, originario de Ecuador, intentó cruzar el Río junto a Marisol de 23 años, y su hijo Jonathan, de 5 años, a la altura del Puente Internacional Uno, sin embargo, la fuerte de la corriente del río los arrastró.

Con mucho esfuerzo lograron la madre y su hijo llegar a un islote en las inmediaciones del río, hasta donde llegaron los cuerpos de rescate del lado mexicano para ayudarlos.
Fue hasta el jueves por la tarde que fue rescatado el cuerpo del joven padre de familia a la altura del Shelby Park, para posteriormente avisar a las oficinas consulares de Ecuador y enviar el cuerpo.
GRUPO BETA RESCATA 3 MENORES
Hace tres semanas, elementos del Grupo Beta Piedras Negras del Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM) en el estado de Coahuila, rescataron a tres menores de edad que se encontraban solas en un islote del Río Bravo.
Tras una alerta emitida por la Guardia Nacional (GN), elementos de dicho grupo se encaminaron por agua y tierra hacia las coordenadas de la denominada Isla del Mudo.
A bordo de un aerobote, personal del INM encontró entre la maleza seca a tres niñas. La mayor protegía en sus brazos a la más pequeña, mientras una tercera portaba una mochila en la espalda.
