Revira CFE a AHMSA: acusa falta de pago
La CFE señaló que Zamudio solicitó que los adeudos de octubre y noviembre 2022 se difirieran para pagarse durante los meses de febrero y marzo de 2023, algo que la paraestatal no aceptó
La Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) respondió a los señalamientos de Luis Zamudio Miechielsen, director general de Altos Hornos de México y Subsidiarias (AHMSA), que acusó a la paraestatal de cortar el suministro eléctrico a la acerera.
La CFE señaló que Zamudio solicitó que los adeudos de octubre y noviembre 2022 se difirieran para pagarse durante los meses de febrero y marzo de 2023, algo que la paraestatal no aceptó.
Agregó que “la facturación de AHMSA (que contempla cuatro servicios) fue de 154.87 millones de pesos, que se debieron liquidar el 23 de noviembre del 2022”.
Según la versión de CFE, la acerera se comprometió a cubrir el pago el 28 de noviembre, pero al no realizarse se procedió al corte del suministro.
La CFE también lamentó la cancelación del suministro de carbón para las dos plantas en Nava.
La empresa aseguró que durante la pasada administración se hizo el contrato para la compra de carbón a la empresa Corporativo Industrial Coahuila S.A. de C.V. (CICSA), subsidiaria de AHMSA; sin embargo “encontró que su precio por tonelada presentaba un sobrecosto” por lo que rescindió el contrato con la empresa.
