Primo Francisco García negó se hayan disparado los casos de violencia doméstica por causa del aislamiento, como se especulaba; dijo que son mínimos los casos que han reportado
Torreón, Coahuila. – En la última semana se registró una caída en los índices de robo de más de un 80 por ciento, en comparación con el promedio de los días previos al aislamiento por coronavirus, informó el director de Seguridad Pública Municipal, Primo Francisco García Cervantes.
Explicó que la permanencia de la mayoría de las familias reunidas en sus hogares, ha favorecido a una baja sensible en la comisión de delitos patrimoniales, como robo a casa-habitación, comercio y robo de vehículo.
Indicó asimismo que, al estar la familia en casa, se inhibe el robo a vivienda, delito del que se tiene un alto índice no solo en este municipio, sino en toda la región lagunera.

Sin embargo, comentó que para los especialistas preocupa el hecho que no se presenten reportes por maltrato familiar producto del encierro, porque se estaría hablando de delitos que incrementan la “cifra negra” de víctimas que no avisan lo que está pasando.

Por otra parte, García Cervantes dio a conocer que si bien la reducción de los robos, homicidios y atracos es “histórica” por la alerta sanitaria del coronavirus, las fuerzas federales, estales y municipales están preparadas para evitar un eventual robo masivo en tiendas o grandes almacenes.
A nivel local no se ha detectado a personas que incitan a través de redes sociales a cometer robos o saqueos en tiendas, pero se tiene en marcha una estrategia definida en reuniones con los directivos de las tiendas de autoservicio para evitar robos.
