Piden una remodelación para el Callejón Miraflores de Saltillo y más seguridad
Ante petición de los vecinos, el Municipio ordenó más rondines de la Policía Municipal, mientras que la Universidad Carolina planea un proceso de rescate, que dará a conocer más adelante
Historias de amor, danza y comercio son las que se recuerdan entre los vecinos del antiguo Callejón Miraflores, que se encuentra junto al barrio de Santa Anita, en la zona centro, sitio que hoy luce descuidado, con daños en la infraestructura peatonal y donde, a decir de los vecinos, las riñas son constantes entre grupos que viven en los alrededores.
En el callejón habitan cerca de 20 familias, de acuerdo con Ana María, una de las vecinas del lugar, quien recuerda las crónicas que le contaba su madre cuando era una niña.
“Ella era comerciante y nos contaba que en este barrio, en todo el callejón que cruza hasta el mirador Manuel Moreno y Santa Anita, se ponía la fiesta de la iglesia, eran verbenas muy alegres donde cerraban las calles, la gente bailaba danzón, yo recuerdo que todo eso se hacía, pero hubo un tiempo en que se puso inseguro”, recuerda Ana María.
Ahí mismo, en una callecita que baja hacia Mariano Escobedo, donde se forma una cuchilla, surgieron historias de enamorados, pues hay un Callejón del Beso, además de una escalinata que conduce a una plazuela en donde hoy se brinda ayuda a un grupo de personas en situación de calle.

SE JUNTAN PARA APOYAR
Se trata de un grupo sin fines de lucro encabezado por don Gil, vecino del barrio y quien brinda ayuda a los necesitados.
“Nosotros hemos ayudado a muchas personas, aquí en mi casa es donde ellos vienen y solicitan la ayuda, hay personas que están en situaciones muy graves como lo son las drogas, el cristal, pero aquí les quitamos eso, los ayudamos.
“Ahorita tengo a varias personas que vienen aquí a comer, a cenar, a pasar la noche”, explica don Gil.
Al igual que Ana María, opinó que en el callejón y el Mirador se requiere de vigilancia de la Policía Municipal para brindar seguridad a los vecinos, además de la rehabilitación del espacio público para que pueda ser utilizado por las familias.
“Aquí a veces no tenemos luz porque nos la cortan, casi no pasa la basura hasta acá arriba, entonces tenemos que juntarla en un lugar, pero es mucho esfuerzo para los vecinos, ya que la mayoría es gente mayor”, expuso.
Recordó que la última rehabilitación que se hizo en ese espacio fue en 2008, cuando se colocaron farolas nuevas, se restituyó el piso y se recató el área del mirador con actividades como baile, obras de teatro callejeras y entre otras actividades que motivaban a los vecinos de los alrededores.
REALIZARÁN RONDINES
De acuerdo con el Gobierno Municipal de Saltillo, ya se ha dado la indicación a la Policía Municipal para que realice rondines constantes en la zona; en cuanto la solicitud de rehabilitación, señalaron que se está revisando el tema.
Por su parte, Sofía Olguín, encargada de Distrito Carolina, un proyecto de desarrollo social de la Universidad Carolina que abarca los alrededores de la institución, detalló que se tiene un proyecto en proceso de planeación que será anunciado en próximas semanas.
