Gobernadores del noreste pactan reactivar economía ante COVID-19

Incrementan vigilancia para evitar que la gente esté en la calle, destacan que el noreste tiene 30% de los ventiladores en el país y buscan sumar a este bloque a Texas para frenar avance de la pandemia
MONTERREY, NL.- Los tres gobiernos del noreste del país, Coahuila, Nuevo León y Tamaulipas, pactaron ayer un plan para reactivar la economía en conjunto con la iniciativa privada, así como endurecer las medidas sanitarias para frenar el avance del coronavirus.
En una reunión que se llevó a cabo en el Obispado de Monterrey, Miguel Riquelme, Jaime Rodríguez y Francisco García, mandatarios de Coahuila, Nuevo León y Tamaulipas, respectivamente, acordaron acciones para fortalecer el frente común que se ha creado.
Riquelme destacó un acuerdo para convocar a un gran pacto con la iniciativa privada de las tres entidades federativas, para así enfrentar los efectos de la pandemia en la parte económica.
“Este pacto tiene tres razones: actuar de manera conjunta y solidaria entre los órdenes de Gobierno y la IP; revisar la estrategia económica local y regional; y generar un plan para que una vez que pase esta contingencia, la reactivación económica se dé de facto, bien planeada, en la región noreste”, dijo Riquelme.
Mientras que Rodríguez afirmó que ellos sí apoyarán a las empresas, haciendo alusión a que la Federación no lo ha hecho como se espera.
“Nosotros sí vamos a apoyar a las empresas y a los negocios de nuestra región, así tengamos que cambiar nuestro destino presupuestal, así tengamos que hacer las modificaciones que tengamos que hacer”, refirió “El Bronco”.
Esta idea se suma a los programas contingentes que han lanzado las tres entidades, como una bolsa de 800 millones de pesos para créditos a pequeñas y medianas empresas en Coahuila.
Las tres entidades en conjunto representan cerca del 14.3 por ciento del PIB en el país.
Además se anunció el refuerzo en medidas sanitarias y de seguridad para evitar la propagación del COVID-19. En estas acciones está la prohibición de viajes no esenciales entre los tres estados.
Los tres mandatarios insistieron que los atractivos turísticos de sus entidades están cerrados, por lo que pidieron a que la población no salga, más que para emergencias.
Adicionalmente se detalló que también se ha determinado incrementar la fuerza pública en las calles, para que la gente tome conciencia. Otro punto fue la obligatoriedad del uso de cubrebocas en los tres estados.
Otro acuerdo fue reconvertir hospitales, para que se puedan ir equipando solamente para enfermos de coronavirus y así poder enfrentar esta situación.
Ante ello, Rodríguez aseguró que el noreste cuenta con cerca del 30% de los ventiladores disponibles en el país, los cuales son esenciales en el tratamiento de personas graves de COVID-19.
Los mandatarios informaron que este lunes tendrán una conferencia virtual con autoridades del Gobierno de Texas, a quien buscan sumar para llegar a acuerdos para evitar los contagios comunes.
