Municipio de Saltillo ofrece ayuda a familia de la joven muerta al ser arrastrada por el agua

El alcalde Chema Fraustro recomienda a la población no exponerse donde hay corrientes de agua
La familia de Ximena Guadalupe, estudiante de la Secundaria Técnica 81 “Rubén Gámez Valero”, en Saltillo, quien falleció al ser arrastrada por la corriente a la altura de la colonia Universidad Pueblo, recibirá el apoyo que requiera de las autoridades municipales.
“Es algo muy lamentable, estamos muy pendientes de la familia, lo que se le ofrezca, son accidentes que pasan, lo menos que hubiéramos querido es que la niña anduviera en la calle y se la llevara el agua, y menos que cayera donde cayó, aquí lo menos que se quiere es andar culpando gente, son accidentes que ocurren”, expresó el alcalde José María Fraustro Siller.

“Tenemos que apoyar a la familia, tanto el DIF-Municipal como nosotros el Ayuntamiento, para las situaciones que requieran; nosotros la vamos a apoyar”, indicó, al señalar que Protección Civil Municipal está revisando las condiciones de los arroyos.
Ante la temporada de lluvias, el Municipio mantiene un programa de limpieza y desazolve de afluentes y rejillas de drenaje en puntos críticos de la ciudad para que el agua fluya sin desbordarse y generar problemas. El año pasado las cuadrillas retiraron 420.5 toneladas de desechos y, hasta abril pasado, sumaban 127.8 toneladas.
En distintos sectores, 8 cuadrillas, de 6 personas cada una, están asignadas a la limpieza de rejillas y arroyos, que suman 232.7 kilómetros que cruzan por la ciudad.
Mientras tanto, el Alcalde recomendó a las personas no exponerse en las zonas por donde hay corrientes de agua, ni exponer a los menores de edad.
Por otra parte, Fraustro Siller informó que el proyecto de canalización del Arroyo 4 Bajo está en desarrollo y el Municipio ya obtuvo autorización de instancias federales y está en curso la negociación con aproximadamente 60 propietarios y muchos están donando una porción del terreno, y confían en que el proceso se agilizará.
