El secretario de seguridad, José Luis Pliego Corona, informó que luego de una semana de la llegada de la caravana migrante a la frontera de Piedras Negras, ya se estima una fecha para que concluyan las funciones en el albergue que fue establecido en dicha frontera.
De acuerdo con la autoridad, este cálculo, se realizó entre la cantidad de trámites de regularización migratoria que ha realizado el INAMI, así como las ofertas de empleo que se han turnado por parte de la Secretaría de Trabajo y Previsión Social, y los otros trámites de asilo que han sido otorgados por el gobierno de Estados Unidos para esta población.
“El mejor de los escenarios es que para finales de mes esté cerrando este albergue general de Piedras Negras. Estaríamos concluyendo actividades. Es una meta muy alcanzable”, expresó.
Al día de hoy, el Instituto Nacional de Migración ya ha otorgado 554 tarjetas de visitante por razones humanitarias a los migrantes de la Caravana, que llegaron en un contingente aproximado de mil 672 personas que hicieron una parada en Saltillo apenas el domingo pasado.
En ese sentido, el secretario señaló que estas personas pueden acceder a un empleo formal tanto en Piedras Negras como en cualquier otra entidad, a la espera de realizar su trámite legal en el territorio norteamericano como fue su primer intención, sin embargo, esta será una decisión personal de cada migrante.
Además, para este martes, nueve días después de su llegada, el Servicio Nacional de Empleo recibió la oferta laboral de otras ciudades como Monterrey, Hermosillo y Reynosa, la oferta de empleo para trasladar hasta esas ciudades a por lo menos 120 personas de la Caravana Migrante.
