2 mil 200 artistas participarán en el Festival de las Ánimas de Saltillo

Altares, catrinas, alebrijes y un sinnúmero de eventos se llevarán a cabo para celebrar a los muertos
A partir de este viernes y hasta el 7 de noviembre, la ciudad de Saltillo se engalana con el Festival de las Ánimas 2023, donde más de 2 mil 200 artistas se unen para celebrar a los difuntos con una exhibición de colores, alegría y tradición. El evento cuenta con un monumental altar, imponentes catrinas, llamativos alebrijes y tapetes gigantes que conforman una impresionante muestra de arte.
El alcalde de Saltillo, José María Fraustro Siller, extendió una cordial invitación a las y los saltillenses para sumergirse en esta festividad única. El Festival Ánimas del Desierto se extiende a más de 20 espacios en la ciudad, ofreciendo una experiencia rica en cultura y tradición, que incluye cuentos, leyendas, teatro y proyecciones de cine de terror.

Fraustro Siller destacó que este evento es posible gracias a la colaboración del Gobierno del Estado, universidades y la sociedad civil. En conjunto, han logrado transformar la ciudad y permitir a sus habitantes y visitantes disfrutar de un despliegue de actividades que comenzaron el viernes 27 de octubre.
Algunos de los puntos destacados del festival incluyen la exhibición de las Calaveras Monumentales en Paseo Capital y la Alameda Zaragoza. Asimismo, la ciudadanía podrá disfrutar del majestuoso Altar Monumental que se erige en las escalinatas de Santa Anita, del 1 al 3 de noviembre.
Además, el 2 de noviembre será el día del Pan de Muerto Monumental, en la explanada de la Biblioteca de la Alameda Zaragoza, y los Tapetes monumentales adornarán Paseo Capital ese mismo día.
Durante el evento, los asistentes también podrán apreciar el Altar de Muertos en la Casa del Artesano, del 30 de octubre al 5 de noviembre, y disfrutar de la presentación de la leyenda tradicional “Cuando el diablo subió a Saltillo”, que tendrá lugar en el Centro Cultural Teatro García Carrillo, el 29 de octubre y el 1 de noviembre.
El Festival Ánimas del Desierto también cuenta con el marco del Festival Paso de la Mariposa Monarca en el callejón Santos Rojo, donde se presentará una instalación artística y exposición de Alebrijes realizados por artistas locales desde el 27 de octubre hasta el 6 de noviembre.

“Este Festival Ánimas del Desierto es una oportunidad para recordar y rendir homenaje a nuestros antepasados, quienes nos han dejado un legado invaluable y han contribuido a construir la ciudad que hoy tenemos el privilegio de vivir y disfrutar,” subrayó el alcalde Chema Fraustro.

UN FESTIVAL PARA TODOS
Del 1 al 3 de noviembre: Altar monumental en las escalinatas de Santa Anita.
2 de noviembre: Pan de Muerto Monumental en la explanada de la Biblioteca de la Alameda Zaragoza.
Del 30 de octubre al 5 de noviembre: Altar de muertos en la Casa del Artesano.
Del 27 de octubre al 6 de noviembre. Instalación artística en el marco del Festival Paso de la Mariposa Monarca en Callejón Santos Rojo.
Del viernes 27 de octubre al lunes 6 de noviembre. Exposición de Alebrijes realizadas por artistas locales, en el marco del Festival Paso de la Mariposa Monarca en Paseo Capital.
28 de Ocubre: “Danza por uno, danza por todos” en la explanada de la Biblioteca de la Alameda Zaragoza.
El 29 de octubre y el 1 de noviembre: “Cuando el diablo llegó a Saltillo”, en el Centro Cultural Teatro García Carrillo.
Del 31 de octubre al 14 de noviembre: “De acá del norte; oficios y tradiciones”, en el Centro Cultural Vito Alessio Robles.
