Esperan en Saltillo ocupación hotelera del 63% en Semana Santa

Para las vacaciones de Semana Santa, el Ayuntamiento de Saltillo instalará módulos de atención al turismo en sitios estratégicos, en tanto que continúan reforzando la capacitación de la Policía Turística, con el aprendizaje del idioma inglés entre algunos elementos.
“Están tomando clases, la idea es que cada uno sepa las bases del inglés, pero no es fácil capacitar a alguien en el manejo del idioma inglés en unos meses, pero la idea es mejorar la atención al turista con una capacitación constante”, explicó Mario Mata Quintero, director de Fomento Económico y Turismo Municipal.

Informó que esperan una temporada fuerte y la ciudad ha cambiado, de manera que hay una gran oferta de atractivos vacacionales y los negocios se preparan para atraer clientela a los restaurantes, hoteles y comercio.
Añadió que el registro de ocupación hotelera es muy bueno, superando porcentajes de años pasados, por ejemplo, en febrero la ocupación hotelera fue cercana al 43% y este porcentaje se incrementará de manera significativa en los próximos días, esperando una gran cantidad de personas provenientes de Monterrey.
“Estimamos una derrama económica de mil 400, mil 500 pesos por persona, ya hay reservas de hoteles y en la Oficina de Convenciones y Visitantes se sienten optimistas con el número de gente que nos visitará estos días”.
Por lo menos, esperan que la ocupación hotelera crezca un 20%, que es el promedio para la temporada de Semana Santa.
La Policía Turística está capacitada para orientar al turismo y brindarles la ayuda requerida, además de que se refuerza la seguridad y esto también resulta atractivo para atraer visitantes.
