Llega POSCO International México e-Mobility a Ramos Arizpe; invertirá en industria ecológica

Con una inversión de cien millones de dólares y 200 empleos, llega a Ramos Arizpe la empresa POSCO International México e-Mobility que producirá el núcleo de motor, componente clave para los vehículos eléctricos.
Durante la colocación de la primera piedra de lo que serán las instalaciones de esta planta en el Parque Industrial Amistad Chuy María, estuvieron el gobernador Miguel Angel Riquelme, el alcalde de Ramos Arizpe, José María Morales, así como Si Bo Joo, CEO de PoscoInternational; Hakyong Kim, CEO de Posco Mobility Solution; Younghak Ko, CEO de PIMEM; Jonghwan Yeom, CEO Younchang y Jeong In Suh, embajador de Corea del Sur, entre otros.
Se destacó que la inversión inicial es de 52 mil millones de won y para 2030 llegará a los 155 mil millones de won, POSCO International México e-Mobility es una fábrica que produce núcleos de motor de tracción para vehículos verdes, esta planta se dijo será el punto clave para tomar acción hacía el mercado norteamericano, arrancará operaciones en julio del siguiente año y se tiene como meta llegar a una producción anual de 1.5 millones de unidades.

“América del Norte es uno de los tres mercados de vehículos verdes más grandes del mundo, y es un mercado de alto crecimiento en este sector, con un futuro muy prometedor. México ha jugado un papel muy fundamental en la industria manufacturera de vehículos de combustión interna y también se prevé que tendrá un papel más grande e importante en la industria ecológica”, indicaron.
Por lo pronto, se destacó que muchos países están anunciando planes de reestructuración industrial para detener por completo la producción de vehículos con motor de combustión interna del 2030 al 2040 y hacer rápidamente una transición hacía los vehículos eléctricos.
Ante ello, se resaltó que hoy es un mundo donde los países y las empresas no pueden sobrevivir sin incorporar la palabra “verde” en sus políticas, por ello, el mercado mundial de automóviles ecológicos ha estado creciendo a un promedio anual de 15% y se espera que la participación de ventas de automóviles verdes entre todos los tipos supere el 24% para 2025 y y el 50% para el 2030.
