Trabaja Saltillo para atraer turismo

La ciudad será sede del XXIX Congreso Nacional de la Industria de Reuniones, en la que se espera la visita de 600 personas
Saltillo trabaja para atraer más turismo; prueba de ello es la realización del XXIX Congreso Nacional de la Industria de Reuniones, CNIR, del cual se espera una derrama económica de 12.5 millones de pesos en la región.
El alcalde José María Fraustro Siller mencionó que este evento se realizará en Saltillo del 16 al 18 de agosto y participarán las 12 asociaciones que integran este gremio a nivel nacional.

“Coahuila es un Estado blindado y seguro y eso es otro motivo para que estos tipos de eventos se lleven a cabo en nuestra ciudad” sostuvo Chema Fraustro.
TRABAJO INTENSO
Por su parte, Mario Mata Quintero, director de Fomento Económico y Turismo del municipio, señaló que desde el inicio de la administración municipal se ha trabajado para atraer este tipo de eventos a la ciudad.
“Este evento va a ser muy importante para Saltillo por la derrama económica que se generará y por la difusión que se le dará a los atractivos turísticos de la región; se trata de eventos que nos representan importantes tiros de precisión en lo que buscamos”, destacó Mata Quintero.
Se calcula, dijo que 600 personas llegarán a la Región Sureste, lo que representa mil 800 habitaciones-noche de hotel dejando, solo en este rubro una derrama cercana a los 3 millones de pesos.
Por su parte, la secretaria de Turismo en Coahuila, Azucena Ramos Ramos, recordó que desde hace algunos años se había buscado que Saltillo fuera sede de este congreso y por fin será una realidad.
“Es gracias a un importante trabajo en equipo que se logra atraer este tipo de eventos y nos va a fortalecer; nosotros estamos preparados porque contamos con la infraestructura necesaria”, aseguró Ramos Ramos.
Alejandro Ramírez Tabche, presidente del Consejo Mexicano de la Industria de Reuniones, afirmó que se eligió a Saltillo por la seguridad, conectividad, infraestructura, así como el trabajo en equipo que se realiza entre sociedad y gobierno.
