Banamex fue comprada por el magnate minero Germán Larrea, asegura columnista

Dario Celis explicó que el empresario de Grupo México presentó a Citi una oferta de 11 mil mdd por Banamex
El magnate minero y dueño del conglomerado Grupo México, Germán Larrea, asesorado por el equipo financiero Barclays, ha sido la ‘oferta ganadora’ escogida por Citi para la venta de Banamex, esto de acuerdo con la columna “Y el ganador de Citibanamex es...” del periodista Darío Celis.
Según información declarada por el columnista, al segundo hombre más rico del México, con una fortuna de 28 mil 100 millones de dólares, solo le hacen falta librar condiciones de la institución financiera.
Entre ellas, “indemnizaciones específicas si el banco llegara a generar pérdidas futuras por determinados asuntos”.
Explica que entre la guerra de ofertas entre Grupo México y la Asociación de Bancos de México (ABM) presidida por Daniel Becker; Larrea tuvo ‘la última palabra’ al presentar una propuesta de compra de casi 11 mil millones de dólares, comparada a los 9 mil millones de dólares del rival.

“Aunque no alcanzó los 15 mil millones de dólares que pretendía el vendedor, sería suficiente para que Citi se dé por bien pagado y abandone la opción de la Oferta Pública en el mercado de valores”, explica Celis en una nueva entrega de su sección de opinión “La Cuarta Transformación”.
El columnista agregó que “por las condiciones del mercado, altamente volátil y con tasas de interés por las nubes, la OPA tampoco le asegura a las huestes de Jane Fraser que vayan a obtener sus 15 mil millones de dólares”.
También aseguró que la mayor parte de los 11 mil millones de dólares provendrá de la bolsa de Germán Larrea y otra más será administrada después por Antonio del Valle Ruiz y Carlos Slim.

Aunado a que Citi decidió tomar dicha oferta porque la marca Banamex está perdiendo valor y el ánimo del ‘staff gerencial’ se ve deteriorado.
Por otro lado, afirma que el dueño de Grupo México está intentando concretar una reunión con el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador, bajo el compromiso “con el desarrollo de México”; por lo que “su gente ha pedido al secretario de Hacienda, Rogelio Ramírez de la O, y al de Comunicaciones, Jorge Nuño, que le hagan llegar AMLO ese mensaje”.
Además, perfila a Fernando López Guerra Larrea, quien maneja Grupo México Transportes; Ricardo Larrea Zepeda-Carranza, capitán de Cinemex; y Leonardo Contreras Lerdo de Tejada, director de Administración y Finanzas de Americas Mining, como posibles gerentes de Banamex, una vez que concrete la compra.
